location. Natashua made the check in process so easy and she was so sweet and helpful. my husband isn’t used to traveling without me or checking in and she helped him through it and didn’t make him feel dumb. she was dealing with tons of teenagers and parents because there was a tournament going on at the same time and her patience was phenomenal. my husband was just so pleased and impressed by her, so we wanted to leave a review. that had to be one heck of a weekend for her!!!

the price for that hotel isn’t usually that high, so that was a tad disappointing for one night.

Staff was very responsive to our requests for a luggage rack and hair dryer - neither of which were in the room. Both were delivered quickly after we asked for them. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We liked the indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Breakfast was very ample and well done.

Had to ask for a hair dryer & luggage rack. Although the room was clean, the carpet is tired and stained in some places.

I ate at the bar at the end of a long day at the hospital staying with my son. The bar tender, Jade, was very pleasant and accommodated my end of the night needs. Also the lovely lady at the front desk, Natasha, was very gracious to accommodate me further in adding two days to my stay. All the other auxiliary staff around the site were wonderful from cleaning staff, to staff running the breakfast, to the ground’s keeper! Everyone was very nice.

No complaints

Beautiful interior. When you walk in it looks like you’re somewhere else. The room was a good size and staff was friendly and helpful.

The shower was a bit smaller than expected. There was no way of turning it on without getting completely wet in ice cold water. There was also not a good place to place your shower supplies except for the floor.

Alexandria was at the front desk when we checked in after a long day on the road. She was upbeat, extremely helpful and informative. The hotel was immaculate, inside and out… the food was excellent and the staff very kind. Only negative was they need more luggage carts… we had to wait while someone found one on an upper floor for us. Would definitely return!

My general feeling is this place is clean and modern and also not very memorable

It would have been nice if they offered a basic free breakfast for guests - the only option was the $10 buffet and it was pretty low quality food and I would have rather just gotten a free yogurt and and banana and a coffee. The price of the room wasn't that low and it seems like you should be able to expect that at a hotel like this.

We had a really bad experience at another hotel in Gainesville and needed to depart in the middle of the night. We were able to book a room at the DoubleTree just before midnight. The staff was exceptional and the room was very clean and comfortable.

The breakfast could have been better.

The night staff when i checked in was amazing as well as the rooms.

The dude that remind you about check out time, comes to your room like you’ve never paid at all rushing you to leave. I left so quick i left my wallet had to get access to the room cause he just stand in the door almost watching you…he came in the room while my girl was using the restroom with the door open.

Breakfast was included which made the experience outstanding. The hotel cleanliness gives the feeling you-are-at-home. The attentiveness of the staff was the cherry on top!

the bar closed too early; last call on both Friday and Saturday was 9:30 pm for mixed drinks. We were there for a football game weekend and it should have been open later.
