Bleu Beach Resort

We thought the hotel had this cute little retro vibe to it on the outside. (You park your car in front of the room.) Inside was nice and updated, tho. It was not a huge room, but it was plenty comfortable. We also loved the tiki bar at the end of the hotel. It was right along the beach, so great views! The soft tacos were delicious too! The staff were very kind and helpful. The free breakfast was fairly basic, but it was good! We loved being able to walk out our room, walk down the hall, and walk out on to the beach.

It wasn't a problem for us, but I could see that their parking lot was pretty small, so parking has the potential to be an issue.

I liked the beach location. The pool was great! The staff was attentive. The room is good, small but adequate. I really liked it was a small scale resort and all the rooms were on first level. My room was near the pool. I liked that, too. There were retail shops and restaurants in walking distance. However, plenty of parking areas if you couldn't walk there.

The pool got sandy after 2 days. The resort sign is small and easily missed. Renovation so no lobby, a resort room is designated.

The hotel was simple but comfortable with a parking space directly at every room. There was a lovely pool and a fantastic bar/restaurant right on the beach with food and drinks that were exceptional! The freshest and best oysters we’ve ever eaten and wonderful bbq’d shrimp which actually wasn’t on the menu but they give you one shrimp to go with your Bloody Mary and it was so good we asked if we could order a portion and the lovely barman happily accommodated! The location is just wonderful- right on the beach and the beach is gorgeous.

The check out was strict on timing with no flexibility and we couldn’t get beach towels as we handed them in the night before then were told we can’t have some on the day of check out as they wouldn’t have a chance to clean them for new guests. Seems a bit silly surely they could have a few extra towels. But it’s a small hotel so I think they struggle to be flexible. The breakfast also wasn’t great and a very small area with only 2 tables. I think normally would be fine as you could probably take your food to the bar area and sit by the sae but it was too cold the mornings we were there.

Staying right on the sandy beach and ocean was fantastic! Location can’t be beat. Exactly what we wanted. Restaurant/Bar was great - food was very tasty. Pool was clean and a good size. Marie, Amy, Brett & Mo and all staff awesome! Continental breakfast convenient - coffee very good. Fridge in room very good. Location on A1A the best. Walking distance to every amenity.

Room small for week stay. Room needs more hooks and hangers for beach wear, wet towels and bathing suits, etc.

We loved the pool and how close the property was to the beach. We were also within a 25 min. drive to the night time turtle walk scheduled on our day of arrival. The property was clean and beds were comfortable. All staff was friendly and very helpful with any questions.

The only complaint is, and it is an easy fix and not a deal breaker by any means, is to have more hooks to hang wet bathing suits or towels on. With 2 adults and a 17 year old it was hard to have things dry properly. Otherwise, it was perfect for our 2 night stay.

Loved the location, it was perfect and just what we were looking for. There was a local event right next door and it was the reason why we picked this resort. It was a 3 minute walk to the park where the event was held. So no parking issues, was able to comfortably leave the event and go back to the resort to rest, refresh and regroup before going back to the event without missing all the good parts. No stress and hassle that would usually come with a crowded event.

Breakfast was simple and easy to grab, but there wasn’t enough of a variety for my husband to get anything.

The bathroom was very small; the tub was only 4' and a prefab. Grab bars would have been helpful getting in and out; the tub gave a little when you stood in the middle. Parking was an issue. They said no backing in (even though most people did). It was hard to back out of a space in an SUV with cars parked along the wall. They said to park SUVs and large trucks against the wall but smaller cars--and locals--took up those spaces. We were also told that guests of a guest couldn't park in the lot or would be towed yet we found locals parking there to frequent the Tiki Bar. Our daughter was staying at a different motel down the road so we went back and forth to pick her up so we could spend time together.

Beautiful beach location.

So busy. We were there on a weekend so had we been there during the week the experience may have been different. They had a cute bar and restaurant but you couldn't get near it. We waited a crazy amount of time in the hopes of securing a table or even a place at the bar but then gave up. I'm talking hours not minutes. We ended up getting in our car and driving somewhere which wasn't really the relaxed beach weekend we had planned.

We loved the pool. It was temperature controlled perfectly. The location was right on the beach with nothing between you and the Atlantic Ocean. The continental breakfast that was included was an added bonus. The restaurant/grill on site was convenient. Best of all, the staff was warm, welcoming, and friendly as could be.

No complaints. We would and probably will stay there again.

The beach being steps from your room! The beautiful pool and the patio area right next to the beach! The rooms were soundproof. Rooms were very clean and comfortable beds! Refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot were nice additions. The owner has remodeled the rooms and grounds so beautifully. Great price! The location was excellent…could walk to Publix and pick up food for picnics. Great restaurants all around. Don’t miss going to Lou’s Blues Restaurant…fun with trivia, etc and great shrimp! Owner provides beach towels.

Would be nice if they would upgrade their air conditioner units someday and put a hairdryer in the rooms.
