Central Motel - Inverness

Great size rooms, comfy beds, great location, clean, great water pressure! The motel gives you a list of restaurants that give a 10% discount if you show motel receipt when paying!

Using 2 blow dryers simultaneously (my sis and I) blew the fuse twice as we were trying to get ready for the Elvis Festival. Staff took care of it immediately and we were told the room needs to be renovated with new GFCI outlets. It didn’t ruin our stay but prolonged our getting ready process! Room smelled a little musty also.

Great location. Room was clean and comfortable. I’m paranoid about safety and felt the motel was fairly safe. I also like the discounts available at multiple restaurants nearby. The motel was recommended by a family friend who stayed there multiple times.

I felt the front office staff was professional but not exactly friendly or welcoming. The only two times I went to the office (check in/check out), it couldn’t wait to get out of there.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The tv, shower, lamps and coffee maker were all in good working order. Our room was a short walk to an excellent restaurant, The Cinnamon Stick. We even got a discount coupon for the restaurant from the Central Motel. Our room was quiet so we got a good night's sleep.

The blinds in our room needed a minor repair. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk they were very responsive.

Good location, spotlessly clean and super friendly and helpful staff. We messed up our booking and the lady on the front desk was really obliging and helped us sort things out. Loved the pool, and having Cinnamon Sticks across the parking lot was great for breakfast, everyone there was super helpful too. We were travelling with a 7 month old baby and everything wasade really easy for us. Comfy, spacious room, comfy beds and good shower too. Close to gas station store and liquor store too for provisions.

Location and staff! Situated right on the Withlacoochee State Bike Trail, making it convenient to ride north or south. They even had a place lock up the bikes at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Although they don't have breakfast, there is a restaurant next door to buy breakfast and lunch. There is a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge in the room. It is very close to downtown restaurants.

This motel was excellent. The room was surprisingly large, comfortable and clean. Don't let the outside distract you. We came to town to ride the Trail and this motel provided a great jumping on point right next to the trail. It's a quiet small place with friendly staff and customers. Pool area is a little small but not for the size of the motel. Onsite restaurant was extremely busy but food was excellent. Great relaxing weekend getaway spot.

Parking was a little tight, but we have a truck.

I had an after hours arrival and Michelle (front desk) made sure I had a room that was easily accessible and easy to find as it was dark when I arrived.

Florida is very hot and humid and the room was a bit damp when I checked in. I adjusted the AC unit and by the next day it was fine. That was a very minor thing and everything else was wonderful.

Didn't offer breakfast there; however we were offered a discount at the restaurant on site and it was excellent. Our room was upgraded to a king size bed instead of the two queen size beds we originally reserved.

Bed were a little too firm and could have used more pillows as they were quite soft.

The room was clean. The buildings inside and out were clean. We had a problem getting the TV to turn on. The front desk clerk immediately came to help. It’s in walking distance to Cinnamon Stick restaurant. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton this isn’t it. This is an older facility being well maintained. If you are looking for a clean comfortable place at a good price this is the place for you.

The location was close to everything we wanted to see. The room was very clean and comfortable and mini refrigerator worked well and was larger than any others I’ve seen. We really appreciated the soap dispensers above the sink and tub. The staff was very polite and gave great meal selections.

The price was slightly higher than I expected to pay for the amenities. including there were no outlets available on the table lamps as most facilities have nowadays. The laundry was loud due to… I’m guessing an uneven load in the washing machine,we could hear it from our room. The vertical blinds were broken and didn’t provide full privacy. The room keys were not a card key like most of the current Motels that can be stored in a wallet or purse. That said the key couldn’t easily be lost and if that happens it’s $150.00 per lost key, That’s a bit much in my opinion. The toilet seat was loose , the desk phone wasn’t hooked up, and finally it was a challenge changing channels on the TV at certain angles.
