Hampton Inn Crystal River

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The towels and bedding felt and looked clean without an overwhelming chlorine smell. They have complimentary coffee all day and night, and the breakfast included in the stay is the best breakfast selection I have ever had in a hotel. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is great.

This is minor but the mini refrigerator in the room had the last guests leftovers and when the refrigerator was opened it smelled terrible and made the whole room smell terrible. I didn’t want to make a fuss about it but I did call the front desk to inform them and so they could come and dispose of the leftover meal which they did.

The location was great for scalloping and visiting springs. The staff were very friendly. The lady working the breakfast was hard working and actually smiling. The breakfast was fun for kids as the had red velvet waffles and whipped cream and sprinkles. They also had eggs and ham and grits, oatmeal, fruit, pastries.

It was a friendly place, I just prefer a larger hotel with restaurants, shops. They had round the clock cookies and coffee.

Everything was far better than I could have expected. The room was better than expected and the staff was nothing short of exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, from bottles of water, to extra towels, to recommending places nearby we could eat at. I would definitely stay here again.

The only issue we had had nothing to do with the hotel at all. They were doing construction on the road in front of the hotel so traffic could have been better. But like I said, that has nothing to do with the hotel and in no way made our stay any less pleasant.

The breakfast here was wonderful. Polly did an EXCEPTIONAL job keeping the breakfast area stocked, clean and organized. All the serving spoons were labeled to keep food from being mixed and counters and tables were cleaned continuously. We were there 4 days, and there was a nice variety of breakfast options each day. I loved the different waffle flavors available, and the egg omelette and pancake/sausage sticks the most. Thank you so much for your attention to detail! I also interacted a few times with a lady from housekeeping the cleaned our room on the 4th floor. She was so friendly and thorough with our room cleaning. Definitely pleasant to interact with. The front desk employees were also friendly and attentive. Everyone we interacted with at the hotel was great.

A large group of teens came on our 2nd or 3rd night and we could hear them from the hall. Our sound machine muffled a lot of the noise though and if it was enough of an issue, I would have called the front desk.

What we did expect from a Hampton Inn is again correct. A good hotel with a good bed and mattress , a descent bathroom. A good breakfast. Thus the quality standard of the Hampton Inn hotels was largely atteint by this hotel.

As in nearly all the hotels in the States: Please reduce the use of plastics!!!! On the moment that we were there the entry and exit of the parking at the hotel was not so easy due to roadworks (especially during the evening)

The room was very comfortable and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. It had a well-equipped gym and pool. You could come down and make yourself a hot drink any time of day.

There was not much about the hotel itself that I didn't like. The breakfast could have been a little better. When I visited there were long term road works going on outside which made it difficult to find the entrance, particularly in the dark.

We have a very fast and lovely check-in. The rooms are large and comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and modern. We liked how it gave us access to both Crystal River and Homosassa.

There is a lot of construction on the road before the hotel - not their fault. It makes it difficult to navigate going in and out of the parking lot.

Excellent breakfast, 24 hour coffee in lobby is a bonus. There was a nice pool near our room however it was too cold during the weekend to swim. We sat by the pool and enjoyed the sunshine.

We booked a two day stay but we’re locked out of our room after the first day, the situation was quickly resolved.

lovely room. spacious. well decorated. clean. very warm and friendly staff. loved the pillows. high ceilings made room feel exceptionally larger.

bed could be more comfortable. small pool. breakfast could be better, but was no worse than other continental breakfasts. dryer was LOUD and didn’t dry well.

We've stayed here several times and as always this Hampton Inn never disappoints. The pillows are wonderful, the mattress is very comfortable, the bathroom is large and allows my wife to have all her toiletries easily accessible. The room is large, comfortable and very clean. Additionally when you book the reservation through Booking.com's phone App, the discounts are so high that the value is tremendous for this quality.
