This was an emergency reservation, made the night before Thanksgiving for Thanksgiving (1 night) as we were trying to get out of a lousy hotel (Marriott Waterfront). Ambrosia made us feel extra welcome, the room on the 2nd floor was lovely (Room 108) , public parking nearby and at a very reasonable price ($10/day). Quiet location but totally central; we could not have asked for a better place. Should we go back to Key West, we will be checking them first!!!!!!

Location couldn’t be beat and we were really pleased with the delicious breakfast and choices offered. The staff was also awesome- friendly, helpful and accommodating. The owner even took the time to come up to us and introduce himself.

The place was lovely and our suite was great but it really could have benefited from a little TLC, especially in the bathroom. The tile floor was in pretty rough shape (cracked, wiggly tiles), the tub drained quite slowly and the pedestal sink should have a drain catch. We’re sure upkeep is challenging and despite those issues, overall, it was lovely, comfortable and we were happy.

Everything was perfect, location was fantastic. We enjoyed the quiet, clean atmosphere. Our room was perfect. Staff was great, and top of that they cleaned our room for the whole 7 days we were there. Never had that before. Highly recommend and will stay again. Our room also overlooked the main big pool. The Tree Top king suite on the 2nd floor.

The water was tricky for the shower at first then maintenance got it fixed. The bathroom shower head needed to be fixed. Other than that it was great....cold AC was top notch considering it was 105 the whole week.

quiet property with the perfect location to get to all the hot spots of key west! breakfast was included and was better than expected (fresh eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes each morning) main pool was relaxing and had great sun all day

because it is an older building, you could def hear everything from the people in the rooms above you. if you are sensitive to that you will probably want to book a room on the upper level, and just be mindful that your neighbors can hear everything below! We were in room 110 for a night and it had a spiral staircase - if we did that room again we would bring luggage that is a lot easier to get up and down the staircase. we had to leave our bags on the first floor that night. not a make or break but will pack more efficiently next time!

it was so conveniently located close to everything but a few blocks from the rowdy area so it was very quiet. our room was clean and spacious with a separate sitting area and a little balcony to sit on. The breakfasts were generous with fruit, hot scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, and the usual complement of bread and cereal. it was served by the lovely pool. the staff was friendly, efficient and helpful.

the shower head in our room barely emitted enough water to rinse shampoo out of my hair. Although it didn’t bother us, we heard people complaining about the steep stairs leading to the second floor. if our luggage had been much bigger it might have been a bit difficult.

Great location, the staff was helpful nice and friendly. The property was well maintained, the room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was okay, it is served between 8:30am and 10:30am, Property has 3 pools which 2 are 24/7, we were very satisfied that we wanted to add an extra day. Highly recommend this place.

$25 to park the car, per day, when I asked for the street parking they were ready for that question and immediately made me feel like I might struggle to find a parking space late night!

Ambrosia is a lovely, boutique hotel in the heart of Key West. It's within easy walking distance of the wharf and Duvall Street, with lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The pool area was beautiful. Breakfast is included and is served around the pool, which is very pleasant. The only minor complaint is that the breakfast is very pedestrian, much like something you would get at a Hampton Inn or similar hotel. There are bikes to rent and you can bike to anywhere on the island. The street is quiet. This is a great stay for the money, and I would stay here again.

well there was nothing I specifically did not like about the property I stayed in the cottage with the circular staircase to the upstairs bedroom which I enjoyed very much but I think that I should’ve been informed beforehand because I might not have been someone who could have made it up and down the circular staircase and that would not have been a happy surprise when I arrived had that been the case. as it was I got a huge kick out of it and enjoyed it very much

The service, breakfast, location, and our suite were excellent. The proximity to Duval Street and all other points of interest was well within walking distance. In our case, the communication surrounding the incoming hurricane and the flexibility to attempt to accommodate us beyond our registered stay was appreciated, though once our flight did get canceled we ended up driving out. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and should we come back we will absolutely stay at this location again.

The breakfast was great and appreciated, but a little variety day-to-day would be very welcomed.

It was clean and comfortable. The location was great as it is a couple of blocks off Duval. The breakfast was pretty good too! Keep in mind, this is old town, it's not going to be pristine in all respects. The cleaning staff was good and efficient.

We were across the street from the pool and breakfast areas. It wasn't really convenient, but we were ok with it. We didn't spend much time there, but that's ok. It was a little more private where we stayed.
