Kimpton Lighthouse Hotel, an IHG Hotel

Our room was very roomy and nice, and it was right outside the pool and cafe. Checking in was easy and the person was very nice and accommodating.

We asked for a late check out by only 30 minutes because we were delayed at breakfast due to the wait for a table. The desk clerk, a lady, said no. We pleaded and she continued to say no. We had to come back and pack our bags and check out during our breakfast. When we finished our breakfast and left 2 hours later after check out our rooms still had not been cleaned or touched, so they could have accommodated us. Very poor taste in our mouth considering the price we paid.

we loved the gardens and outdoor areas. The breakfasts were good and included protein. The staff was very friendly and responded to needs. the bathrooms were nice. Location is awesome.

my daughter and friend paid $500 less for a queen room than we did for a King with patio where we had to take turns if we needed to walk around the bed. and the light from the lighthouse came in through the windows and made it hard to sleep. maybe a blackout shade would help. For this price point We expected daily maid service. while I understand the difficulty finding staff, the price should have been adjusted since you were not paying cleaners.

The room was as expected as shown in the photo. I loved the comfort of the bed and the super good pillows. Simple breakfast to cover what is necessary, the coffee they offer was incredible. Its location is great, you have everything very close on foot.... The carpet that is entering breakfast must be taken into account because most of the elderly (they do not walk well and drag their feet) would stumble over that unevenness causing accidents such as throwing away their coffee hot on top or stumbles. Nice place. I would return to learn more about other types of rooms that are beautiful. Thank you

The front staff doesn’t communicate very week about the bike rentals. One lady even raised her voice at me for the bike company texting me to keep the bikes that day. I couldn’t help they texted me, but she yelled at me for that. As someone who works in retail golf, I would get fired for yelling at a customer. Especially when the customer was simply trying to explain something. This was disappointing.

I liked the location and the pool area and green area

our room was quite small, but that was okay. I didn't like the fact that there wasn't a nightstand next to the bed, there weren't enough hangers for the towels in the bathroom. every time I went to the pool they didn't have towels available. they had bicycles available in the hotel courtyard but guests were not allowed to use them. there are no hair dryers in the rooms, for the daily price this would be a basic, every hotel has even the simplest ones on the side of the road. I think it was expensive despite the location.

The pool is small and nothing special. We were there off season and were there during a heat wave.. Seemed like everyone was a little on edge and grumpy. But heatwaves will do that! The room had a window A/C unit that I was thankful for. It's a great location. Across the street from Hemingway house and one block from Duval Street. Thankfully very quiet resort and small. parking lot is a couple blocks away. It's key west. enjoyed our visit and walked everywhere.

The pool needs updating.

This is a really pretty little stylish hotel in a fantastic location. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We travelled a lot round the US and it was definitely one of the best ones we slept in. There is a lady who works in the breakfast room on Wednesday who was incredibly kind. She was really helpful finding me some tea when I had run out and looking after other guests who had been caught in a rain shower. She is a massive asset to the hotel and made everyone at breakfast smile with the kindness.

Location was great. Breakfast is standard and the staff take the coffee machine away prior to 8am so you have an gap that you have to wait on the staff to provide their coffee instead of just leaving the Keurig out. The lady was also snappy about the machine so she can just setup her space. We continually lacked towels like their machines couldn’t keep up. First night was fine, second night we didn’t get towels till 11:30pm and third night we never got towels. Pool was continually lacking towels.

The pool and patio was fantastic. The room was well appointed. The breakfast was okay. There were musicians every other day which was a nice add to the ambiance.

The housekeeping was very spotty, and occasionally we just got new towels. The air conditioner was in the window and was really disruptive. It turned on an off all night. The breakfast was okay, but if there was fruit it would have added to the choices (there were bananas and oranges but with the skin on).

Upon check in , Arturo greeted us and he could not have been any more helpful or friendly. The grounds , with its meandering pathways are charming. The bed in our room was the most comfortable bed and bedding I have ever had on a vacation. The location was spot on. We parked our car upon arrival and we were able to walk any place we needed to go. It was a short walk down Duvall street to Mallory Square and an even shorter walk to the Southernmost Point. Across the street is the Moondog bakery which is another bonus. Couldn’t be happier with our hotel choice.
