We wanted something right on the beach, with a kitchen and budget friendly which is what we got. The hotel is dated but very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very small but we were able to cook breakfast in the mornings and make sandwiches for lunches. We had 4 adults staying in the room and it was a little crowded as there was only one sofa and the living room was small. We were very pleased with the location as it was close to restaurants and right on the beach. You were given 2 chairs per room on the beach and the cost of an umbrella was $15. We never went to the pool so I can't comment on that. Check in and check out was very easy and the staff was always very helpful and very nice. There is also a free shuttle that would take you to South Beach and that was very nice. The only other thing I wish the hotel had was a balcony and a good view. Because we wanted to be right on the beach and wanted a kitchen and stay budget friendly I had to give up the balcony/view. This hotel does not have any rooms with a balcony. We could have had an Ocean view for another $75 per night. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and definitely recommend.

Hotel had no balcony

This location is everything. We stayed for two days after a cruise and had 2 rooms. The rooms are comfortable for 3 people for sure. 1 room had we had an adult with 2kids (11 & 12) and in the other room 2 adults. We loved having the mini kitchen, the two way entry to the 1 bathroom as well as the sink outside of the tub and toilet. The beds and let out couch were comfortable with enough covers and pillows. We liked being right there on the beach as well as being able to walk around to the restaurants or grocery stores to have snacks and drinks in the rooms. The rooms could use an update but what hotel doesn't and the atmosphere makes up for that ....if you can book a room with the beach view!!

What we didn't like about the hotel was even though there was an outside pool it was just a little bit too dirty out there but I'm not sure how to handle that because it's outdoor. In the room we are just use to having a broom and if you use the dishes you will need a dish towel as well as dish liquid because there is only something there to use the dishwasher. That is really all I have on the dislike of this hotel. Hope it helps you to decide but the hotel is really worth your stay, we will be back.

You have to pay for the beach furniture

The location is amazing! It's right on the beach, close to many restaurants and the grocery store, and just a block from the Band Shell park. It's not a luxury hotel but the bed was comfortable, the kitchette was stocked with everything we needed and for the price it was quite acceptable.

The room smelled quite musty when we checked in and you can't open any windows to air it out. Some of the light switches were in very odd places but we got used to them. The pool was freezing!

There is no parking and restaurant services in this Hotel

The staff were friendly. Good location right on the beach. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

There was a dead bug in my room, which indicates the cleaning staff did not do a thorough job cleaning the room. And yes it was in plain sight. No valet parking had to park in a public lot and refill the meter daily.

Really close to the beach, great location, no parking in the hotel but there's no problem with finding a place around for $1/hr, free parking between 6pm and 8am so that's only $10/day. Really nice small apartments, quiet, great view from ocean front apartment.

Looked better in the pictures, pool opening hours could be longer (it's only 8 to 8), corridors smelled little like urine.

4th fl unit- renovated, large 2 door bath and walk-in shower. living room separate from bedroom with door- very nice. tons of closets and drawers. elevators were great and can walk steps as well. full gym onsite- deep pool 4-7ft. amazing location- steps out of enclosed pool to path to beach! parking is a cinch! just one block away 300 spots in huge safe well lit, busy lot! free there 6pm-8am. Can put App on phone to pay 8am-6pm…$10. Can’t beat that!! can park next to hotel entrance to load/unload. great staff- room cleaned daily! Pics not telling how great place is- King bed on 4th… very comfortable!! Loads of shops/ restaurants/ coffee shops on block!! Great vibe! Not a skyscraper… no lobby bar or restaurant… you won’t miss!! if you like room service food and same restaurant all week… then not for you. Miami Beach Trolly stops outside- goes to End of South Beach- very frequent and FREE!! Very safe great vibe! 7am-11pm. I’ll be staying here again soon!!! Stay on 4th renovated floor.

The location, the room was clean

There was no sound isolation, you could tell if anyone was walking on the room on top. Feel bad for whoever stayed in the room under mine, my kids were a bit all over the place

We were happy with the location on the ocean front and the access to the boardwalk along the Miami beaches. We also enjoyed the neighbourhood as it had a wonderful variety of restaurants. Although some distance from South Beach and other Miami locations, the free tram service was an amazing way to travel. The hotel staff were very helpful and available 24 hours. The pool was a great asset. Our suite was comfortable and spacious for the three of us.

The pool loungers are hired from a separate company. It works if you want to hire a lounger for the whole day but not if you only want to make a short visit.
