quiet, clean, ample parking close to doors, full sized refrigerator with real freezer, stove top. toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, the 4 cup coffee bombs in small coffeemaker make for very full bodied tasty coffeealways wishing i could have ice cream to stay frozen, and a toaster to freshen sandwiches instead of eating stale, or ruining bread in microwave, no breakfast included, but that's reflected in the very affordable price ( compared to most. This is a wonderful place for a stay over for one or a few nights. The suite I got was a two bedroom studio, with full kitchen en two double beds. Comfortable bathroom with all necessary stuff. But the best is their free shuttle service: This is not precedented in Miami: Upon arrival, you call them and they come and collect you from the airport. You make immediately your shuttle booking for the return to the airport for your departure day. However, you want to be dropped at Walmart, you book your shuttle and they bring you there and collect you again! Same for Dolphin Mall! So, within a certain range (I think it is 5 miles) they bring and collect you with their shuttle bus wherever you want to go. VERY convenient! nice and friendly drivers; they assist with the luggage and are not begging for a tip (which of course results in a tip!). Really, superb service!

NOTHING to mention. This has been my best stay in Miami since years!

Family of 3, Booked for 1 night for cruise leaving out of Miami. It was a 20-30 minute (straight shot) drive to the Port of Miami. I got a 1 bd room with a pull out couch.... Perfect for us. I love the Sonesta Hotel no matter what city or state I travel too. You get your money's worth.

I was "charged" twice. The front office said the first charge which was the day before check-in, was to hold my place. It will be returned after check out, but of course this happened over the weekend. Banks are closed. So it will take longer for the refund. I've been booking with booking.com since 2016. I've NEVER had to do that, not even with Sonesta in different cities or States. So just be aware in Miami you will have double pending charge. I think they should bill you for half the room price, and then charge the rest a check-in 🤷🏾‍♀️

It's a very affordable place to stay--close to the airport. It has spacious rooms, with a kitchen. There is also a tiny convenience store on site but I did not feel they had many attractive options. Nevertheless, there is a small shopping centre nearby. The place also has a free shuttle, which you can reserve in advance. There is a small swimming pool, which is very nice. The wifi works well. Staff is very supportive, and allowed me to check in early, which was very nice.

One tricky thing was the shuttle is that it only runs every 2 hours, so it is not always convenient, and the airport always has priority (I did actually manage to get the shuttle from the airport because I could not get my phone to work for calling in the USA).

I was a little sceptical booking but after visiting for myself I loved the location, I loved the privacy, the room was acceptable and beds were comfy, quick & easy check in process

The pool area could be more appealing, The bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly. Me & my mom had to literally ask for some AJAX to clean the bathroom ourselves. And the room had a smokey smell to it. The part I didn't like the most was THE CABLE WAS BASIC, nothing at all good to watch.

I love the location is was a lot of privacy off in the back which my husband and I appreciated . The room was fully equipped and very clean . The kitchen had everything to make a full course meal . Close to Walmart and plenty of restaurants. Can’t forget free washing and drying on-site laundry.

They didn’t come to clean room while you stayed which was okay just wish we didn’t have to ask for towels and essentials that they would make a effort to offer these things like trash disposal or linen changing .

Room was odor free. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. This room was a home away from home and an office. Perfect for a lone traveler. Laundry room was very clean with several machines available. I didn't use the laundry, but the machines seemed to be modern and functional. Possibly worth a local stay - just for laundry, gym, and pool.

The gym was impressive - but could be a little crowded with more than two or three people. At least one piece of equipment was in need of maintenance. The TV in the room was difficult to hear. Audio adjustments were not possible. A limited selection but good selection of stations - notably CNN, CNBC, Fox news, Showtime, TNT, TBS and some local broadcast stations.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. First of all its close to the airport and shuttle buses can bring you back and forth, whis is great, just a pity I found out about it only after arival. The room was really clean, comfortable, staff members very friendly and there was a cosy pool outside. A great value for the price!

Some equipment was broken or did not work, though it was replaced immediaty when I told staff about it. The fridge was really noisy and I had to turn it off to be able to sleep at night. Similar with air conditioning.

Wow, this place was awesome! For the price, this place deserves a 5 star rating. The beds were well made, clean, spacious, and in a nice area. Getting there was horrific however, but that’s just Miami traffic. Would book again!

The cleaning ladies do come by early, not too early like 9am to see if you’re checking out. I get why they do this but you know sometimes we’d like to check out until last minute.
