Homewood Suites by Hilton Ocala at Heath Brook

The hotel is in an excellent location for stores and necessities, also quite a number of restaurants. Diane and the front-desk team are super, always "on their game."

Room cleaning was only available on request, which was a bit surprising for such a good place. Also I felt that this time (I've stayed there several times), the breakfast wasn't that great...again, for such a solid hotel.

It was a great surprise! The whole hotel is incredible clean, room, bathroom, front desk, pool, common areas… And to top it all up, Staff was amazing. I wish I asked the front desk attendance for her name so I could add it to the review, she was welcoming, kind and professional. She went an extra mile to give that hospitality that makes the difference.

Nothing to complain. All great.

For hotel of this caliber and price point, would expect room to be serviced at least every other day at minimum. Breakfast choices were nice and also tasty (although the coffee a bit weak for me, I realize some people like it that way!).

I wasn’t expecting such a nice hotel because it was cheaper than a competitor. The breakfast was great, the beds were comfortable. It was quiet. It was clean. It was so nice having a kitchen. The location was great. I think it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had in a hotel.

Location of hotel very good and quiet. Easy on/off of I-75 and convenient to Sam's Club. Enjoyed the Managers party. Shower was very good...plenty of hot water. We liked the fact that our accommodation had two separate rooms. Variety of TV channels was good. Lots of good restaurants and shopping in the area.

Would have liked to have been offered a vegetarian breakfast. Requested an upper floor room but was assigned a ground floor room and too tired to go back to desk to request an upper floor room. Also, asked for a pet free room and there was an odor of a pet in the kitchen area when we entered the room (on the padded chair). Would like to have had a door separating the sink area from the sleeping area. Also, I am a Hilton Honors member and was given two bottles of water but only one chocolate candy bar...two bars would have been nice.

The assigned room was very nice. The room was quiet and clean and they did give us a room on the upper floor, as requested. Great dining and shopping in the area. The staff were all very nice. Also, it's located across from Sam's Club which is convenient for "gasing" up.

Our room was not ready for us (at 3:15 pm) which was ok but in the room assigned the dishwasher was still going (for only three items). No problem. Breakfast was just "ok". We were given a pre-prepared box and weren't really asked what we might like. Yogurt would have been nice rather than a muffin.

Loved the location! The decor and lobby was very inviting especially with the staircase leading up to the other floors.

Two issues were the bed and the couch. We purposely wanted the suite to have the sitting area and kitchenette. The bed was too soft for me. The couch was too low to sit properly and relax because I wanted to feel at home.

All staff was very pleasant and helpful. Wednesday manager dinner was a special treat.

Hallway outside our room was very humid and hot. More towels in bathroom.

Hotel was bright, clean and fun. Always love having the kitchen area in the room to cook meals as we are normally at a tournament, helps to economize. Breakfast was good. The room was spacious, super clean and comfortable all around.

2 room suite, pool, location etc.

Poor breakfast. No jets working on hot tub & hand rail broken / dangerous - coming out of ground. No housekeeping.
