Chateau Mar Beach Resort

The location was fantastic!!! The gas station is right across the street, several accommodations were very close, within walking distance! The way the building is built means everyone’s room is ocean view! It was very private. The Pool was Clean and the Area was tidy!

There were no pool towels, or continental breakfast, just small irrelevant things to me. Only 2 picnic tables in the pool area, BUT the previous hurricane, I am sure, forced them to put some stuff away. I saw the concrete tables and benches stacked off to the side. The renovations were happening, the Paint didn’t dry on the floor below us the entire stay.

The room was very spacious and the beds were clean. The floor was dirty in some areas but we just asked for some more towels and wiped it up, no biggy. The pool was very clean and literally no one used it the whole time. Would’ve loved to but my stay was during a cold time haha. The beach access is close and nice. Close to other places and ample free parking for guests close to rooms. Not noisy, no staff bothers you for anything. Check in was very fast and easy.

The floor was a little dirty. The bathroom was slightly cramped, but had lots of counter space and a big shower.

Bed was very cozy, sheets were cleaned well. Location is amazing! Staff is so warm and friendly, you feel like part of their family.

Floor needed mopping very badly. When I did not wear slippers, my socks turned dirty brown. There were dirty foot prints on the bathroom floor when I arrived. I also recommend bleaching your showers/shower floors better (Scrubbing Bubbles is easy, just spray (let sit) and then rinse away! Grout will be white!! Otherwise, the room was very clean! 5-stars is within reach!

Could have been a little cleaner, also would have been nice to have been told the stove tops didn't work, went and bought pans and food then I couldn't use them so a lot of money down the drain!!!!!! Told the guy up front and he was kind of rude about it, but the girl that worked the night shift was amazing and made us want to stay another night

right on the beach . gorgeous to wake up to the waves . nice chai latte and hot chocolate / coffee machine in lobby . staff ( with face piercings - can’t remember her name ) was super sweet ( got us extra blankets for sleeper couch , wine opener & internet password , and let me ask questions about the family suite ) all with a smile and positive , sweet attitude . nice pool by the beach ( although too cold to go into this time of year )

not walking distance to restaurants

Access to the beach with easy close and very convenient the beds were some of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel the room was extremely clean and we were given extra pillows and towels by the staff immediately on request.

I have no problem with it but the hotel is a little bit older however I like that I like the setup of the hotel and I liked the original Beach feeling it had.

pool is great, room is nice, TV was the worst experience...I do not know what to do with a Roku! Unable to watch live TV, but the fireworks being set off most of the night was no help. Left early in the am due to lack of sleep, so did not get in the beach day. Staff was nice, as I locked my phone, in my room in the am. Luckily a nice couple called the phone number for me, and I was helped within 15 mins. Would return if price comes down.

The location is fantastic! Hotel is right on the beach. We had a king suite with a 2 burner cook top, microwave and refrigerator, in a seperate room with a sofa and small kitchen table. Our room had a very nice view of the ocean. Free parking. The price was amazing. Staff is wonderful. Very satisfied.

The only negative for me, was the bathroom wall needed to be cleaned.

The price for two nights was good. The view from our room was great. The staff was nice.

No breakfast. The bed wasn't that comfortable. We were on the third floor and had to go down to the street level to get ice. Everything else was okay. They only clean rooms when you check out, we stayed two nights, had to get our own clean towels.
