Location is great. Firepit was an added bonus. Pool and whirlpool area were immaculate. Loved the coffee machine. Housekeeper did a wonderful job!

WIFI service in room was terrible, outside slightly better service. Elevator floor needs to be repaired immediately. I tripped twice on the ripped linoleum flooring. Please paint the equipment room door near elevator too.Those 2 items are in the most traveled area and make the hotel look rundown when in fact the hotel has been beautifully modernized.

Only thing that could have been better: our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter became ill and vomited through the night, we could not get any clean bed linens since the office was closed. Not a big deal, we managed. In the morning, office staff very friendly and understanding, and housekeeping staff was there right away to give the room a through cleaning.

Very nice place - I would come back again no problem. They try to be different from other motels. There is a bit of room for improvement. Room was very clean and the staff was always helpful. The Ice machine was epic - torrents of cold cold ice!

There needs to be more room in the bathroom to hang things - put some sturdy hooks up or something. The washing station as you come off the beach needs a complete rework - it is awful. De-crud the power head and add a foot washing station - there is no way to use the equipment effectively to get the sand off - a hose would be 100 times better than what you have now. Rake the fire-pit area daily - it was completely full of trash and cigarette butts - who wants to spend time in an area like that? Parking is an issue - I didn't like having to park in a run down lot across the street - it would be a little better if there was some sort of "security theater" (read big camera) looking over the area - also - clean it up.

The room was clean and comfortable with reasonable prices. The fire pit was a nice addition. It was in a good and convenient location. The bedrooms were separated and the kitchen had a full size refrigerator. The toilet was like an airline toilet as far as the flushing mechanism.

There could have been better parking but it was satisfactory. The sliding glass door was difficult to open and close. It almost took two of us to manage it. The continental breakfast was minimal at best but an IHOP was close by.

The courtyard is beautiful. No rubbish hanging around. Everything was organized outside and inside the rooms. Easy access to the beach. Front service personnel and maintenance were very pleasant and friendly. It's a good peaceful spot in Ormond Beach.

Starting to show signs of deterioration and corrosion stains. It's not an appealing look granted that the coast was battled by two recent hurricanes, and sea water must have been an issue. Hopefully, it can be addressed so it doesn't fall short. The headboard is made out of fabric and was very dusty. Had problems with flushing of toilet. I don't know if it was a new toilet tank system to conserve water or the plumbing itself. It was addressed by maintenance but had the problem again.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Easy check-in and check out process. They had our papers ready and printed out for us to sign as soon as we got there. Took less than 5 mins.

The pool area could use a little more shade. Maybe one or two more umbrella tables. Two families left their stuff at the tables and left to go down to the beach all day. No other guest could use them ALL DAY! Not the establishments fault, though, just inconsiderate of those guests.

We had a beach front room with a balcony. The views were to die for. Staff was very nice. The hot tub was excellent. My husband fished on the beach. The coffee maker in the lobby was nice.

Provided breakfast wasn't very good. There needs to be more variety. They only offered muffins, yogurt, banana and apples. I wish the pool was heated. Ice Machine was broken the whole time we were there.

The reception was wonderful, they went out of their way to solve my problem. The room was comfortable but when I walked with bare feet the floor felt moist and the remote control also was moist which grossed me out. The T.V. volume could not be controlled and was permanently on a volume that was just a bit too loud. I admit I did not ask for help with that, I was already in bed and very tired.

We stay here during our birthday "weekend" every year..& yes; the rooms & the facility need to be maintained better.. & updated & painted. The pool is not heated, but we were still in the warm daytime sun si that's fine; BUT young children should NOT be in the hot tub! Other than a few small cosmetic issues, this hotel/motel is great, very accommodating, polite staff!

I wish they had a proper comforter. & better quality lamps & 🥶🥵🥶🥵 The A/C is freezing on 1 side & Warm on the other side. We stay here because we like the quiet environment

Convenient to the beach and the staff was very accommodating. The room service could have been a little better, with making beds, supplying towels, and so forth. I have to say the hallways and the rest of the outside were well maintained.

The advertisement on the net said for the price we paid, we were to get an efficiency unit with a small countertop burner. Wrong: instead we got a room comparable with any Day's Inn, or Motel 8. They hadn't anything else available for the first week out of our three week stay, but we tolerated it. The second week we were given the room we requested at the onset. Not that it's a big deal, but we were charged an extra hundred dollars for the difference. The room wasn't well lighted for anything that needed close work. The kitchen sink cabinet had a small leak at the drain. The bathroom basin had no stopper and the faucet water force barely reached a trickle. Just a little word of advise. To avoid any future law suits, I would suggest putting hand rails in the showers.
