I loved the newly renovated room. The new appliances and bright clean look was great. The location was great too. Short walk to the beach. I also loved the balcony view on the roof. The courtyard lights were a nice touch too.

I did not like the look of some of the exterior but i do understand that the motel is currently under renovation. I did not like that the balcony on the roof was left a mess by the workers.

The Ice Maker in the freezer did NOT work properly

Location-beach access (77) just across street. It’s a calm, clear water, great beach for families with no waves slamming your kids down.) Staff so nice, rooms being close to the pool (we all loved the swimming in it,) having a full kitchen with ice maker in fridge and parking was super close. Good value for a family.

True to reviews 2 wash cloths for 5 people (more brought when requested, quickly), no toiletries in the bathroom, & sheets for the futon would be nice. This is an older hotel that’s being renovated-no noise though. So I’m sure the small things we found wrong won’t be for long.

Everything was perfect. I was skeptical about the place at first because there's no office and because of certain reviews but this place is perfect. One complaint was the water wasn't hot. We had to turn it to cold because it got to hot. Loved it!! One complaint was bugs, we did see a few but it was like flying ants and water bugs. We always bring bug spray no matter where we stay so. The kitchen was equipped with your basic needs and I loved how they had coffee and filters already. Nice!! There are no bowls or plates just so you know to bring some. The staff was friendly, the pool was nice, the location was perfect and the beach access was right in front. The beds aren't the most comfortable but it made due. We'll bring a topper next time but we're okay with that. They have free WiFi which my friend and the kids loved. This place is nice. They are working on the rooms upgrading them so bare with them. Altogether it's a nice place. Oh they have grills your able to use with full propane tanks.

Everything was good

It is a Mama and Papa owned hotel, designed exactly how a hotel should be, it was very private because of dividers on every porch!! It was fully furnished with every kitchen utensil needed, every type of pan, bowl, cup, and a nice amount of ground coffee with filters.

There is absolutely zero staff at night and no main office which is unheard of(Doesn't have to be looked at as bad, just different). The only problem with the room, which I'm highly upset about, my LG A/C room climate control had a very large amount of gunk on fan with no filter...

almost don’t want to leave a glowing review, but I have to. 😂 honestly the most precious little hotel ever! room and property was clean and well maintained. fresh towels left for us. check in process was a breeze. decently priced, and in a great, quiet area! honestly can’t wait to come back, will do my best to always book this property if we need somewhere to stay in town.

The beach was literally a 2 minute walk from the Catalina Motel. If we had an issue , we would let the staff know and they would come out as soon as possible. The Motel also had pots, pans, plates, cups and utensils in the kitchenette. All we had to do was buy our own food and seasonings😊! The pool was very nice as well. We would leave our wet clothes outside our room and no one would mess with them.

We saw roaches in the apartment at night. The shower drainage was slow. There is a 35 dollar cleaning service charge per day including clean towels.

We love this little place. It’s very comfortable and cozy. Nothing fancy and expensive. We were there during the week and had the place to ourself. It was obvious that the owners have been working hard on this place. There were new propane grills out in the courtyard and by the pool side. Each grill had new tools to cook with.

Location was great Room and pool extremely clean

Unfortunately, we arrived at 3pm An hour before check in. Front desk was closed and it was impossible to actually speak to a staff member. Very unnerving as it was an internet booking, I had two small children with me, and was afraid I'd been scammed. I understand the front desk was being refurbished, but to put people's mind's at rest, surely they should have a member of staff available to answer enquiries. Poor customer service

The staff number 1 customer service. The Safety and Security cannot be beat.. The location was perfect just a very short walk to the beach. The rooms were very nice and Amazingly Beautiful Courtyard with a balcony on the very top 🤩🤩🤩🤩 We really enjoyed our Stay..

The price was a little higher than expected but we do understand it was July 4th. Still your prices are unbeatable
