The room was updated and clean!!!! And great price!!! I would definitely recommend this place. Beds were comfortable and I love that it had a kitchen..

Checking out at 10 was way to early. Usually check out is at 11 and 10 we felt a little rushed. And the outside needs to be updated Because the rooms are amazing...

Easy arrival, great communication! The room had everything we needed. So clean! Very pleasant and stylish decor.

We were not able to use the pool. It had not been cleaned before arrival. Pool chairs were a bit difficult to adjust.

I walked around Blind Pass neighborhood and business area extensively. The Sun Island Motel is an excellent location for walking, for access to St. John's Catholic Church, and to drive to all the area beaches and restaurants. The room was small but clean and well-equipped, especially in the little kitchen. The manager, Vanessa, was responsive, friendly and very welcoming. My dg was very welcome by the management and other guests. Overall, everyone was friendly and though I only stayed one night, I felt like I was in a little community of people. I will return to this motel. The only thing I missed was not being able to walk to a beach access - though I could walk to both the intracoastal and the Gulf ... just not to get IN the water!

Our room was very Clean, Cute and comfortable as well as the common areas and pool. I was nice to have a kitchenet that was well supplied. The Manager's name was Marybeth and she was just about the nicest person I've ever met. She was always available if we had any questions or needed anything. She was more than a Manager she became a friend while we were there. All the staff was more than accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend the Sun Island Motel to anyone that needs a place to stay!!! Very easy to get to all surrounding activities.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay other than we had to leave.

The property was well done has everything you needed, was nice and cleaned, not far from the beach, but not walking distance.

Wish they had curtains on the windows the area was well lite which was great for safety but all the lights came in the windows also the small window on the door should be cover for privacy and safety reasons other then that all was great.

the only thing I didn’t like was the check in and out time. check in at 4 check out by 10. I prefer check in at 3 but that’s just my preference. also I recvd 2 emails w a key code and both were wrong codes. ended up having to go to the office to get the correct code.

it was clean, comfortable, had a pool and was more affordable than beach front properties for our last night of vacation. We enjoyed lunging around the pool-clean/comfortable.

the lights were really bright outside the window and blinds/curtains did not block them out to sleep at night - if you are light sensitive like I am. Pool not heated.The TV turned on/off in the middle of the night 🤷🏻‍♀️

Super Clean, Easy Check-in, very relaxed atmosphere. Had a small kitchen area, I didn't need to cook but if i had wanted to i could have with no problem. Plenty of towels, and kitchen utensils.

the lights outside of the room to be a little dimmer in the overnight hours as it lit up the room through the door and front window making it hard to sleep. A curtain over the window with blinds would help buffer that light along with some kind of cover over the front door window. That was only complaint, everything else was amazing

The room was clean and the description of everything was precise. We were able to enter the room without checking in (in person) and with a code.

Better maintenance should have been done on the shower. The faucet kept falling off.
