Chairs,Umbrella's & Cart's were free & available to take to the beach which was very near. Pool & beds were good & everything was clean. All Staff were very friendly (Especially John) He was brilliant on directions, knew the Area well. I was Solo so he recommended nearby Restaurants / Bars for me to walk to at night. Would definitely stay again & recommend Petes Suites

Everything about this place is amazing! The kind receptionist that checked me in moved her own car so I can have a parking spot since they were fully booked and it was a Saturday, what a lovely lady! As for the suites itself, very clean and comfortable. There’s a lot to do at the hotel and also around the area, with the beach just a few feet away with bars/night time close by. Loved this place! Hope to stay here again soon.

Parking was fairly difficult. Definitely not their fault, the city is responsible for the size of parking lots so I’m not surprised we are limited on parking due to beach goers.

This hotel is in a very good location only about 2mins walk from the beach. It is clean, a little basic, but comfortable. It is an older hotel which has its own character. The reception guy John was extremely helpful and friendly, he gave us lots of tips on places to go and see. There are two pools, one which is heated which was ideal because the weather was very chilly for a few of the days that we stayed. We used the complementary pool towels and outdoor BBQ in the evening.

Could do with a few more kitchen utensils and generally a bit of modernising. The complimentary cycles are a nice touch but they are not maintained to be usable.

it was cozy and perfect for my husband and I! It was walking distance from the beach...2-3 minutes more or less. so many cool and chill places to eat around. Perfect location with an awesome vibe.

The location was excellent. It was walking distance to the beach and very close to some good restaurants. I have 3 children and they did not complain about the walk! The pool was very clean and refreshing after a long day at the beach. The rooms were large enough to easily accommodate a family of 5 .

I drive a truck. The parking spaces aren't very deep. This was challenging. The rooms do not have luggage racks. I do not like my things sitting on the floor so this was an issue. The bathrooms do not have any counter space.

Great staff; quirky, cool property. Great location with proximity to beach as well as restaurants and bars. Parking was super convenient and EV Charging for 4 vehicles at only 15 cents/KWh. Use of beach chairs, umbrellas and wagons was super convenient and pool with dolphin fountain is classic (plus two nice clean pools)

Pretty rough bathroom and kitchen. Functional but not that nicely refurbished and high traffic shows. Single queen rooms are suitable for a couple at best. Limited places to put your stuff.

Clean and updated to modern standards, thoughtfully appointed to suit typical needs (too often lacking): bedside lamps on both sides and with charging ports, dresser, sleek bathroom design with all amenities, closet with plenty of hangers, easy to get more of anything, tiny perfect kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, sink, pots pans etc., nice TV (did not use), plenty of space to lounge outdoors, easy walk to the beach/shops/Sunday outdoor market/restaurants, awesome staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Didn’t understand modern air handling system (was it heat and AC all wrapped into one?). Should have asked. Would suggest adding info to guest notebook. Bottom line, though, we managed to keep the temp just right.

Rented 5 spaces. Beach house was spacious. Other rooms updated. Beach house offers 2 stories with lots of space for gathering and sleeping lots of people.. There is a ping pong table that was a big hit Location was excellent! There was a limited but free supply of bikes, beach chairs and beach wagons to borrow. Location was excellent!! John was soo helpful and kind.

The beach house was a 2nd story with no elevator, so hauling food and drink and supplies for so many was a lot of work, in and out. Space sleeps 12, but table and chairs for 6, 9 plates, etc. Ping pong table only had 2 paddles, but my son brought more.

We stayed for a week then extended by one day while we were moving and renovating our condo. The staff are attentive and friendly. Our room was big, the pool was terrific, it's quiet (mostly families - not crazy parties), and the best beach in St Pete is just a 2 min walk away. Highly recommend. It's definitely a spartan type of hotel (you're paying for location, cleanliness/upkeep, and room size (we had an efficiency style full-fridge King size bed): bring some amenities like a water kettle or your own favorite coffee, etc. They'll be more than willing to try and source what you need... but this area has lots of walkability, beachfront A+, and proximity to whatever you need. Recommend!

Friendly and helpful staff. Many games for the kids and adults to enjoy next to one of the two pools on site. Good size and clean pools. A little closet full of extra linens, toilet paper etc for you to access if needed. Full size fridge and a stove too. Which is great for families that want to cook. They also have bikes, beach chairs and carts that you can borrow. The cart came in handy for going to the beach.

Beds could be bigger. They are on the small side so my feet were sticking off of the bed. I'm a side sleeper but I'm not a tall person. Could use a dishwasher in the kitchen as an upgrade.
