Hotel is located in an area that offers everything you need. Lots of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Check in was easy and fast. Breakfast was tasty with lots of selections. Staff was professional and constant to maintain cleanliness of the areas. Shuttle was great and the driver provided lots of information about the areas around Tampa during our ride to the airport. What is normally a stressful time for me (anticipating the flights) was made fun and entertaining by the shuttle driver (I wish I could remember his name as he deserves recognition). Also recognition to Sandy (I believe this was her name. She has blond hair and a beautiful smile) the front desk receptionist who organized our shuttle to the airport. Don't be 'put off' by the location as it is an older hotel because the hotel is well maintained and safe.

Only thing I didn't like was when we checked in, the hotel receptionist that checked me in stated that all we had to do was come down for the shuttle and it would take us to the airport (after 1030 am). When we double checked in the morning, we were told that the shuttles were all 'booked' and that they didn't have a ride for us. Sandy, (I believe this was her name. She has blond hair and a beautiful smile)the morning person, was fantastic. She realized that we were told incorrect information and suggested an alternative, which we accepted. We rode with the 'cruise' people and was taken to the airport after dropping them off. Worked out great as we got to see parts of Tampa that we normally wouldn't have seen. Big big thanks to Sandy.

The woman at the front desk was outstanding! She arranged Uber from airport to hotel, checked us in quickly and early, put us on list for transport to cruise port. She was on top of everything and so pleasant to deal with. The room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was sink and tub draining slowly. Hot breakfast next morning good. They had a van break down that transports to cruise terminal so they arranged everyone that was scheduled in a van, a car, and put us in an Uber to get us all there with our luggage. Great place to stay if you are cruising from Tampa! Reasonable price, great service.

Excellent hot & cold breakfast selections, very good coffee. Very helpful & cheerful staff. Restaurants close by for lunch or dinner. Having the shuttle service was a big plus, in fact that's why we chose this hotel. The room was clean & comfortable. We would definitely stay there again before cruising.

Our only negative was having to lift heavy suitcases up & down 5 steps to get to & from our room. We are seniors, so that was difficult. We will in future request a room that doesn't need the use of the 5 steps. Also, the day we were leaving for the ship was when the Festival was on with major roads closed, so the shuttle ride to the ship took a very long time - not the Hotel's or the driver's fault.

The breakfast was fine. Typical pre-processed eggs, bacon etc. It was a nice set up. The staff were all friendly. They arranged for an uber to get us from the airport. They were able to get us into a room early in the morning. The shuttle service isn't great. There were a lot of people waiting around the lobby and building for the shuttle. We scheduled the shuttle for the next morning to the port. The way it's run seems confusing and no one really knows what's happening. We made it to the port, fine but watching the team scramble to figure out the logistics seemed unnecessary. They need a better system.

Very convenient location (restaurants and Publix grocery store.) I also loved that there was a swimming pool (which the kids loved) and laundry facilities which really came in handy! I was able to wash my clothes from the cruise! The most memorable part was my interaction with Sue and Danny (front desk) and Janet (breakfast preparer). They were very kind and Sue went above and beyond the call of duty! She even made a photocopy of Phoebe (the Tampa Airport Flamingo!) All service was with a smile and I really appreciated this and them! I enjoyed my stay so much, that I’m already booked for another stay in August, and I’m bringing more friends!! Desiree O.

This hotel had shuttle service from airport and to Crusie port which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was good with plenty oif options and the area had a few restaurants and stores within walking distance.

We were on the bottom floor and it was a little noisy and the shuttle vehicles kept using their back up beepers - which I gwt they have to use - but they should park away from the rooms at that hour or the night.

The owner and staff went above and beyond for my family..They made sure my 74 yr old mother was picked up and brought back to the hotel because my father was arrested at the port by customs because someone back in the 70's used his identity.I don't have enough good things to say about this Hotel..Everyone treated you like family and was very concerned..If I could I would give this place 20 gold stars..Thank you QUALITY INN-Tampa for everything you did!!!

Nothing..Staff and Owner was amazing!!

I like the fact that this hotel has a free shuttle to and from the airport. There is also a shuttle to the cruise port ( per person fee). If you are staying at the hotel upon your return from the cruise, they will pick you up at the cruise port as well( pre pay before you go on the cruise). Just call as soon as you get off the ship. It was great piece of mind for us not having to worry about an uber or taxi.

Beds are a little small for 2 people.but for a night or 2 is ok. And pillows are not very thick, but feel free to ask for another pillow. It helps.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was really good. The location was good. The shuttle from the airport was really convenient. The port shuttle was great too.

The room was dated and the bathroom had some mould issues. There were not enough tables in the breakfast room so some people had to eat standing up.

Close to my cruise connection. Great shuttle service, driver was very courteous! Went to dinner at Bonefish Grill as he recommended. Great tip.

My Daughter inlaw s Room 134 smelled very strong of mildew, musty, awful. I bought some air freshener at local grocery store. Fabreez, helped a lot. I also sprayed my room 135. It was a little smelly too.
