Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Atlanta Airport South, GA

We specificly wanted to Book a Hotel with a pool because the weather was really hot, at the webside they said the pool is open even during covid but when we arrived it was CLOSED. All other Hotels where able to write at the webside that the Pool is closed during covid, but they not so we ended up spending extra Money for a Hotel with a pool but werent able to use it.

Surprising great rooms!!! the outside will make you thinks it’s not too shabby but the rooms are NICE!

I emailed and messaged this property 4 times between 1/16 and 2/2 informing them that I needed an early check in. And that I wouldn’t mind paying extra. I flew in for a business event at 3pm and would be super tired. I arrived at 10am. Sleep Deprived and just ready to rest up until the event. The receptionist, while very kind, went into telling me there would be a $30 fee for early check in. I explained to her to look up my reservation to see I’ve been trying to contact them. But that in the meantime I can definitely pay the fee as I needed to sleep. She looked up the reservation and found all the messages apologized. all of that just to tell me no rooms were available and It would be 10-15min. she didn’t get me a room until 12:15pm 😩

Any concerns I had Gwen the manager was superb about handling them. No questions or frustration presented. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful with checking in and accommodating needs

That the construction kept me from relaxing and enjoying the fact I was there for my bday to getaway n receive fresh air. Also the housekeeping was friendly very creepy btw just staring and I asked for sheets they brought them dropped off n kept going. Also the bkft is over at 930 which means it should b cleaned and put away not available but denied to the residents bc ur breaking it down meanwhile laughing n playing with guests who still eating from the buffet.

They were doing work on the hotel. The front desk was moved to a desk in another room and a lot of people were checking in at once and the front desk attendant was overwhelmed. Everyone seemed to be patient, even the ones that were tired and had to leave early, for flights, but the attendant was very overwhelmed. I noticed the next night, they got her some help. I was happy to see that

I liked everything about it. It was in a good location for me.

I guess the guest that in #320 before me report they was having issues with the a.c. unit in that and it would leak and get the floor of the room wet. We I arrived there for my stay I was wondering why the floor was wet. I just thought someone spilled something on the carpet and they shampooed it recently. Then the next next day the maintenance person came and ask me about it and I didn't have no clue why he was asking so we left it at that. Until the night before my check out I heard water dripping from it and noticed that it wasn't keep the room as cold as it should at 70 degrees or or even at 68 degress. Need to really have that a.c. unit looked into it replaced.

It was a nice location, looked nice. Staff was friendly. Nice place to eat at the resturant.

Didn't know they were renovating, a little messy. For the rooms being redone, they still were not that great. Sheets were stained, had hairs on the sheets, and it needed new pillows. The bath tub was not clean. It still had hairs in it. Floors were not swept very well, still had dirt on them, and stuck to your feet when you walked. Resturant needed more options for main meal.

It was cozy and comfy.

The sheets were obviously not clean. We realized it our last night there when we saw a wad of hair underneath.

Everything was great except for the parking. If you came in late you had to park way away from the actual building, or you had to park in non-parking places. Otherwise, it was a great stay & comfortable. The first lady that I came in contact with when I checked in was amazing, the others were friendly I just didn't have very much interaction with them. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant. I would definitely stay back there on my next trip back to Atlanta.

I spent a restful night following a 9 hour flight from London. The breakfast served before my final flight to Savannah was hot and helped nourish me on my way to a second day of flying.

The directions to the shuttle at the airport for ride to the hotel could have been more clear for international passengers to include the shuttle between International flights and domestic flights..
