decent place to stay for one night, modern lobby, nice shower/tub and good size room.

i was not aware of the $100 deposit you will be charged at time of check in until i checked in. they put a hold on your card and then release the funds 3-5 days after check out. i am traveling on a budget so i was not happy with this. i did read policies and it says nothing about this, only that you may be charged a fee if traveling with pets. also for a newer facility- lots of stains on carpet throughout building, elevator floor tiles were cracked, and lots of unfinished wall repairs. tv claims to have netflix access, youtube, etc. did not work, phone in room did not work (disconnected twice when called front desk about tv) walked to front desk and was told that is a feature that was installed about a month ago and is not complete.

I traveled for an event that was 2 hours away from the hotel, unbeknownst to me, but I was extremely satisfied with the cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and my accommodations. I had to check out early since this facility was so far from my destination. I was given a credit that I didn’t ask for or inquire about. I think that’s a stand-up, professional thing to do! I really needed the funds for gas to get back to ATL and it came through right on time! I will definitely look at LaQuinta 1st when making travel arrangements in the future. I am extremely pleased! Initial arrival at the front of the hotel gave us our first impression of a beautiful hotel. Upon walking in & being greeted by reception staff we were made to feel very welcome by 2 very friendly young people. They laughed when we asked about the pool as it was September 24. Being from England, we were in the pool within 20 minutes of arrival after a long hot drive from Chattanooga via Atlanta. The pool was amazingly clean and we had it all to ourselves. The local Wallmart was literally around the corner. Our room was really clean and well stocked with fresh clean towels etc. Everything about our room was perfect. Sadly, we only had one night booked on our way to Georgia to visit a friend. Breakfast was perfect with a good choice and a huge area to sit at some lovely tables. All the staff were really courteous and friendly. We were sad to leave to be honest. The car park was perfect as we could see our car from our room. We didn`t see any undesirable people or actions during our stay. Forsyth has a lovely small town feel to it which was just what we were looking for. At night we visited a really nice pizza restaurant called Jonah`s On Johnston which was really nice. We had a lovely mid evening walk around the Monroe County Court Square. All in all, our stay was perfect, possibly the nicest place we have ever stayed on our travels in the USA.

It's hit and miss with the cleanliness at this property. I've stayed here many times in the last 6 months. Sometimes the trash from the previous travelers is still in the room. The last stay included no pillowcases on the pillows. Overall this is the best hotel in Forsyth.

I loved the wonderful mattress and quality soft sheets!!

The shower did not function correctly. The diverter was broken so half of the water came out of the shower head and half came out of the spigot and it caused a loud noise and not enough water to take a shower.

The pool area was very nice. The room was clean and breakfast was good.

The room was a bit dark but there was a broken lamp. That was a little dangerous as the light bulb came right out. There was clear water damage around the window. I found the pillows very uncomfortable.

Everyone was very sweet and made you feel comfortable. Uma was amazing, she helped me with my checkin for the second day because I chose the wrong date and took care of it asap. I will definitely recommend to anyone and stay there again. ~Melisa~

Clean, gym, pool and nice staff

Very nice property. Right off the highway exit. Lots of shopping and restaurants in area. Staff was super nice. Hotel and room smwas very clean. Full Breakfast was great. Only complaint was the bed pillows were super hard. Other then that, great hotel.

While we didn't take advantage of breakfast, it smelled delightful and the coffee was good. Our room was comfortable and clean, but the room was strangely humid. The beds were oh so comfortable and other than a little traffic noise from the road, it was a quiet stay. The mini fridge kept everything cold and bathroom was stocked with everything we needed. Last time we stayed at a different La Quinta in GA it was an awful experience, I'm glad we gave this location a try. We travel to Florida at least 3x a year and need to stop over night on the trip down - I think we've found or go to place to stay.

Staff was fabulous, after checking out I had to take my car to the car dealership across the street. Dealer said it would be a few hours before they would even get to my car. We went back to the hotel with our 3 dogs in tow and asked if we could stay in the lobby. They were so accommodating, after being there a couple hours they offered blankets and the tv remote. After 5 1/2 hours our car was repaired, the hotel staff wished us safe travels. Definately recommend this hotel!
