La Quinta by Wyndham Forsyth

I traveled for an event that was 2 hours away from the hotel, unbeknownst to me, but I was extremely satisfied with the cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and my accommodations. I had to check out early since this facility was so far from my destination. I was given a credit that I didn’t ask for or inquire about. I think that’s a stand-up, professional thing to do! I really needed the funds for gas to get back to ATL and it came through right on time! I will definitely look at LaQuinta 1st when making travel arrangements in the future. I am extremely pleased! Thank you SI MUCH for a great experience and for your Great professionalism AND honesty!

Initial arrival at the front of the hotel gave us our first impression of a beautiful hotel. Upon walking in & being greeted by reception staff we were made to feel very welcome by 2 very friendly young people. They laughed when we asked about the pool as it was September 24. Being from England, we were in the pool within 20 minutes of arrival after a long hot drive from Chattanooga via Atlanta. The pool was amazingly clean and we had it all to ourselves. The local Wallmart was literally around the corner. Our room was really clean and well stocked with fresh clean towels etc. Everything about our room was perfect. Sadly, we only had one night booked on our way to Georgia to visit a friend. Breakfast was perfect with a good choice and a huge area to sit at some lovely tables. All the staff were really courteous and friendly. We were sad to leave to be honest. The car park was perfect as we could see our car from our room. We didn`t see any undesirable people or actions during our stay. Forsyth has a lovely small town feel to it which was just what we were looking for. At night we visited a really nice pizza restaurant called Jonah`s On Johnston which was really nice. We had a lovely mid evening walk around the Monroe County Court Square. All in all, our stay was perfect, possibly the nicest place we have ever stayed on our travels in the USA.

While we didn't take advantage of breakfast, it smelled delightful and the coffee was good. Our room was comfortable and clean, but the room was strangely humid. The beds were oh so comfortable and other than a little traffic noise from the road, it was a quiet stay. The mini fridge kept everything cold and bathroom was stocked with everything we needed. Last time we stayed at a different La Quinta in GA it was an awful experience, I'm glad we gave this location a try. We travel to Florida at least 3x a year and need to stop over night on the trip down - I think we've found or go to place to stay.

Staff was fabulous, after checking out I had to take my car to the car dealership across the street. Dealer said it would be a few hours before they would even get to my car. We went back to the hotel with our 3 dogs in tow and asked if we could stay in the lobby. They were so accommodating, after being there a couple hours they offered blankets and the tv remote. After 5 1/2 hours our car was repaired, the hotel staff wished us safe travels. Definately recommend this hotel!

Everything was great clean rooms clean hotel all together great breakfast felt safe nice clean pool nice big lobby with sitting area the gym was nice everything was nice staff was super nice and helpful over all I highly recommend everything was very clean and quite ...My family and i had a very pleasent stay...

I haven't got any complaints or anything that I didn't like nothing negative at all..I was very pleased and satisfied with everything

Clean room. Looked and smelled clean. Easy to find. Dog friendly.

Room was smaller than other places I've stayed. Bed was high in platform and I'm only 5 foot 2 so very hard to get in and out of. Breakfast was okay. No gravy for biscuits or bagels. Hidden fee for dog that is charged when you show up even if you disclose to whomever your booking through. Evening staff not very friendly but morning staff super nice Area for fridge and microwave not well lit and very small.

The breakfast was really good. I enjoyed the choices of fruit, oatmeal or cereal and yogurt. The room was really clean and I felt comfortable laying my head down to sleep on the bed! I’m a huge coffee drinker so being able to have coffee day AND night was very nice!

The pets on the property was a personal dislike but I also understand that people travel with their pets.

Great location, nice facility.

Television didn’t work, got new batteries from front desk. TV/remote still wouldn’t work. No TV during stay. Air vent in bathroom didn’t work making it humid when showering. Coffee pot filter holder was missing. Had to go to front desk to get that part.

The location, and the availability of the "family" rooms that allowed my teen children and my adult cousin to be in the same room while maintaining privacy and feeling safe.

The first room we were taken to had a horrible odor of urine as though it had been saturated in it. No mistaking that smell. We were quickly moved to a different room though on a different floor.

The staff was great!! Very efficient and answered all of my questions. The room was OUTSTANDING!! It was very clean, smelled fresh, you could tell it had been deep cleaned and sanitized. The bed was very comfortable and smelled fresh..the pillows did too. The breakfast to go bag was AWESOME since I was on a tight schedule.
