Comfort Inn & Suites Macon North I-75

Booking.com made online booking simple, and made check in efficient. Nice, clean, affordable room. Extras like coffeepot, coffee, mini fridge, hair dryer provided. A luggage cart was available, and got a substantial amount of stuff to my room with one trip. Very comfy beds, lots of pillows. Friendly front desk, even with a late night check in. Indoor mini pool was open late, used, and enjoyable. Comfort Inn is probably my prefered stop now, after enduring terrible conditions at my previous go to, a competing chain.

Ice machine at the hotel was broken when we stayed. To their credit, they offered bags of ice by request at the service desk.

We were to breakfast in the last 45 mins. Hot items were very limited , as in gone. Staff were getting their food. When inquired if more would be available, breakfast attendant tersely replied NO!. It is my thought that paying customers should receive breakfast as this is part of the booking benefit. Hot items and breakfast should be offered for full time that is advertised. Staff should wait till breakfast is closed before they are allowed to overtake breakfast!

Everyone was friendly, the room was clean and quiet - exactly what we needed for a pit stop on a long trip. Check in was easy and the location was convenient.

The power went out in the whole hotel while we were getting ready for the day. I’m sure it wasn’t anything they could have helped (just guessing - no idea of the cause) but it made it difficult to shower and get ready for a long day ahead in the dark. I’d also like to see them upgrade to shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the shower rather than the small sizes.

breakfast was good selection OK. The best thing was the staff especially Val at the front desk. She was very helpful gave me directions how to get to the destination I was going to. Very gracious person. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. After a long tiring day driving, we enjoyed the swimming pool. although it appeared that some of the equipment in the pool area needed attention The hoist mainly. Overall I would stay there again.

No complaints it was only a one night stay.

Front desk attendant was up to the task. She was quite bold and effective. There were tons of teens at the hotel when we stayed, many of them were just a few doors down so we were concerned whether or not we would be able to sleep. They did run up and down the hall quite a bit but somehow they really didn't keep us awake. Maybe we were that tired, not sure. But the front desk attendant seemed to have her hands full but took care of everything very well.

Staff was friendly; facility was clean; room was clean; beds were comfortable. The early morning staff member was exceptional. We had to leave at 4:45 am and she told me to take a couple of packaged breakfast items, because breakfast was not going to open until 6:00, and we had a very long drive ahead of us before we could stop (had to get through Atlanta!) Also the room fridge had a freezer, which was handy for refreezing our cooler freezer blocks. Some hotels have only the fridge with no freezer, causing me to ask the hotel staff to freeze them, which is not always successful due to Covid protocols.

1. The hallway carpet was worn and appeared dirty, especially when getting off the elevator and going to the room.

Room was very nice clean and comfortable. The AC worked very well which allowed for restful nights sleeping. I liked the charging station for cell phones etc,.

Water pressure due to the type of faucet in the bathroom made it difficult for me to shave while I was there, so I didn't. I was unable to rinse the hair out of my 5 blade shaver. Breakfast looked to be fine, the standard for most businesses of this sort. We did not get out of the room early enough as we were not in a rush in the mornings. I would suggest having breakfast available until 10 am Monday through Friday for non early risers.

We needed a late check out due to a procedure that required my husband to carry a device for 8 hours away from the hospital. I asked if they could allow us a late check out and they were more than happy to accommodate us. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was kind and made you feel at home.

The front desk staff were outstanding - both at check-in and check-out! The parking lot was very well lite - we appreciated that! The building, although having lots of guests was extremely quiet!

The shower head was horrible. First, it was a handicapped shower - which was fine - and there were two shower heads - again, fine. However, both put out three bullets of water and there was no adjusting. There is no way a woman with thick hair could wash it.

Comfortable beds, clean; friendly staff who also tried hard to make sure guests sanitarily accessed food at the breakfast station. Lots of lights in rooms and power outlets on lamps. Can switch between soft or bright light. Big closet.

Noisy hallway; could see hallway light through space between door and door jamb. Could use more seating and space for eating.
