The location is perfect for Volcano National Park. The deluxe queen - room 3 - had plenty of space with a breakfast area with a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, and breakfast items provided every day (oatmeal, ramen, fresh fruit, nut bars, etc.). There was also a table to eat at in the bedroom. The full bathroom was great. The lava tube tour for $10 was a wonderful bonus too.

There were some bugs that would come out in the dark (and onto the breakfast area and and near the dining table, such as roaches (surinam cockroaches)), which I recognize is very difficult to prevent in the area.

extremely convenient to the park. room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. check in and check out was very low key.

it’s not the easiest to find. don’t do what I did by *not* checking your email the day you go. they had detailed instructions there that I didn’t see. check your email so you don’t get lost.

1. The location! Firstly it was a short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent four days. Secondly the property was large and covered with luxuriant flowers, plants and trees. Thirdly it was very quiet. 2. The breakfasts included yogurt, ample fresh fruit and many snacks like health bars. There was a coffee maker and coffee and microwave oven. 3. The unit was spacious with a separate room for the kitchen and a single bed.

1. The bathroom was very small and needed updating 2. The staff seemed too busy to talk until the fifth day as we were leaving. 3. The other five units had a covered outdoor sitting area which ours lacked. 4. The other units offered a 10$ reduction on multi day stays

Excellent location near Volcanoes National Park and great value for money. Nature everywhere, you almost feel like you're staying in the middle of a forest (which is not entirely untrue). The unit was spacious, clean and came with more amenities than a typical hotel room (incl. some snacks).

Only a handful of nitpicks: unusually small sink in the bathroom (other units might not have this issue, ours did). Having a smart TV with casting capability is always a big plus so we can watch our own content on it – sadly in this instance this wasn't possible. Weak internet connection due to the access point(s) being too far away (would recommend running an Ethernet cable to each building instead of working with wifi extenders).

Location near Volcanos National Park was great! Owners were nice and responsive. Room 1 had 2 bedrooms (3 beds total), kitchen, laundry and was very spacious. I really liked the eclectic original art in the room. Room 5 had 2 beds and included breakfast of fruit, yogurt, and granola bars. Breakfast was provided in the room.

Overall, it was great! Pillows could have been thicker/more fluffy.

We really loved the location; tucked away in a rain forest with beautiful views. The jacuzzi on site was a nice touch, with a 105 degree soak under a canopy of various trees and ferns. The water had a slight green tinge to it from algae, but it wasn't that bad really.

We were under the impression it was more of a breakfast than some packets of oatmeal and fruit, but that was likely our misinterpretation. At 5am, the tenant above us was apparently leaving their room. For two hours they stomped around, slammed drawers, and basically sounded like they might have been bowling with a herd of cattle. This is no fault of the property owners, but it was definitely the biggest annoyance of our stay.

We really liked this unique spot. We had a little house all to ourselves with a separate entrance. I think it was attached to other little houses I think but we didn't see or hear the other guests. The little house had an open floor plan with one large bedroom that connected to a little sitting room when you walk in. The latter had a pull out sofa where our son slept. It was nice that he had his own semi-private room. There was a great collection of foods for breakfast and snacks (fresh fruit--- especially native varieties like papaya), juices (again native varieties of fruit I had never heard of -- very yummy!), granola bars, hot cereal, ramon noodles, and a few other things. (In other words, you could have a couple meals a day just with all the lovely food they provide if you were on a shoe string budget.) We appreciated that there was a fridge and a microwave. The location was great--- so close to the national park and tucked away in a rain forest. Really lovely. I loved hearing the coqui frogs at night. The rooms were decoarated with local art-- a painting of the volcano and a wall print of a sea turtle taken by the host. The architecture in our little house was also interesting.

There wasn't anything we didn't like! I just wish we could have stayed there for a full week rather than just a couple nights!

very nice property and just loved the tropical surroundings. All the snacks were great and really came in handy. I really liked that the owner Danny personally came by to make sure everything was OK. Very close to park entrance and just an all around cool place. we even sat in the hot tub the next morning. It was awesome right there in the jungle.

not much. it was perfect for my family of 5.

Spacious with everything I needed provided in the room and parking just outside my room. Super convenient, and breakfast was plentiful.

No 24-hour staff so when the tv didn’t work for me late at night, I didn’t know who to contact and how. I would have also liked a room on a higher floor to perhaps have a more treetop view but perhaps some people won’t mind looking out to a tropical garden which was also lovely.

We enjoyed the lanai in the morning with our breakfast. The provided breakfast was make it yourself but it was tasty from the local fruits, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and noodles. There is a refrigerator and a microwave. The location was perfect to get to the National Park and the local village had several great locations for food options.
