The staff well I only had one person the entire time I was there but she went so far above and beyond when other staff could not be bothered to make eye contact. She seen me struggling and stopped everything she was doing and got me and my belongings to my room made sure I didn’t need anything and took the cart back down with her. She even checked in on me at later time to make sure I was ok and that I didn’t need any help. This treatment lasted the 3 days 2 nights I was there and on check out she had the cart by my door ready for me and then was there to help me to my car. She made the difference! She was amazing. I wish I knew her name. Oh and did I mention. She was the housekeeper! Your receptionist wouldn’t even make eye contact the housekeeper checked me in and everything!

We were in town for a swim meet at the Chuck Fruit Aquatic Center so the location was perfect. It was very clean which is the most important feature to me when staying in a hotel. I also enjoyed the decor. It was warm and inviting. I liked that the artwork was what you would see in someone's house versus a hotel. It made it feel more like home. The front desk staff was very friendly both at night and in the morning.

The stay was very nice! The room was very nice as was the rest of the establishment. Everyone was very nice and accommodating, and the breakfast was nice. The building is located by a lot of good places to eat, as well as a Starbucks and a place to get boba tea.

My only complaints were the beds were not very comfortable, and the tub had a lot of rust colored sediment that came out when the jets were on. That part was kind of gross.

This FAMILY owned and operated Inn & Suites is located within a quaint community near the historic downtown and the SIU University campus. Several nice locally owned restaurants are near by. A delicious full breakfast is also offered as part of your stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We will stay here again!

Our first room the tv didn’t work. The young lady at the desk was very helpful. She got us another room. I didn’t like having to move after I had unpacked.

Nothing! It was great and exactly what we wanted. Only thing is there was no staff the next morning to check out so we left our room keys on the counter. Breakfast was a little picked over by 8am, but it was pretty good!

The location was perfect for our group of 6. We were traveling by bicycles and the hotel was right off of the MCT Nature trail. There were many food choices within walking distance. We enjoyed sitting out back on the patio furnished with patio furniture. The staff was VERY friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had lots of options and there was hot eggs, sausage and biscuits with gravy.

The only thing that I can think of really has nothing to do with the hotel at all. The upstairs neighbors could have walked a little softer. It seems like they were stomping. As I said, the hotel can't control that!

Appreciate the sustainability efforts like using real coffee cups and the shampoo, soap, conditioner dispensers, and recycle containers in the room.Loved the hot showers, comfortable beds, helpful, friendly staff. Felt more like a B&B than a hotel. Tasty breakfast.

It was not anything I didn’t like about this room, but we were traveling to Route 66 and as such would’ve liked to see a little more nostalgia in the room. This is not a critique, but a personal opinion.

Staff was awesome giving suggestions for places to see in the area and helping us get the most comfortable and spacious room with all amenities!

Breakfast options a bit limited. WiFi was very weak signal in our corner room.
