La Quinta Inn & Suits by Wyndham Pontoon Beach IL

It was pet friendly, but our room was clean and comfortable with zero evidence of previous pets-no smells, fur, or anything!: Our dogs sniffed the room and alerted to nothing! The staff was very nice. I'd choose you stay again if in the area.

There was a discoloration on the ceiling over the bed at the window that needs to be addressed. We guess the AC in the room above leaked at some point, but there was no active leaking. I wouldn't even mention it if not asked.

We were in town for a funeral and had several family members and friends staying in the hotel. They were great about getting our rooms together on the same floor and letting us use the small conference room for a larger gathering after the funeral for a very small fee. They also let us stay a little longer than the 4 hours without charging more. They dropped the pet charge down to $10 instead of $20 when I explained I had a very small 11 pound dog that was quiet and house trained. Most big hotel chains don’t budge on the pet fees, so that was cool and appreciated. They were very accommodating and friendly overall. The room was clean and comfortable.

Free breakfast was pretty mediocre. Not much fresh fruit (just bananas). There were a few hot options though. Not really a good place to walk the dog on the property—it’s right next to the highway.

Nice facility, clean and spacious family room. Breakfast was plentiful, staff was friendly from housekeeping to breakfast staff to front desk staff. The pool is a decent size. We've stayed here twice now and as a family of 3 we love the family suite, room for all of us without being on top of one another. Love that it's about 10 minutes from STL. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was clean. The Staff was very courteous and professional. The location has excellent access to the freeway. We also liked that the hotel was located next to the Police Department.

The duvet was a little dirty and some of the fixtures were dated, but otherwise I have no complaints.

Breakfast was ok. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well.

Our toilet wasn’t working exactly right. The handle was broken and the chain was off so we had to take the top off and manually reconnect it two different times. Also there was 2 very loud dogs in the room next to us. Big dogs with loud barking.

All of the staff was so frriendly and helpful. The breakfast was great! The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. We would chose this same location if we were in the area

No negative reports. The managers are working very hard to made this an enjoyable experience.

The Pool was nice, but small, I am a Floridian and the water was to cold for me, I did not like having rowdy children in the room above me It was after 11: 30 p.m. before they were settled down, and myself and hubby could go to sleep this went on for 2 nights,

We needed the pull out sofa bed for our family. The mattress on the pull out was disgusting. It was stained and had hairs on it. There was not a sheet to cover it. We ended up having to use the top bed cover from one of the beds to cover the gross mattress. And the TV did not work in that little room.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Has a gym, indoor pool, and indoor on-site laundry. Next door to the police extremely safe.

It was conveniently located. The room was especially nice; I had my dog with me and I was located near a side entrance. Made taking her out easy
