Relax Inn

I don’t write many review but I have to for this place. We highly recommend Relax Inn to anyone that happen to pass by the area in Marshall Illinois off the freeway. The price is affordable comparing to other places we been staying and the treatment we get from this place with our car broke down from all the driving is priceless. They helped us out in ever ways to get our car repair on a weekend so we can get back on the road quick. The hospitality is beyond words to describe especially for us traveling thousands of miles from California to watch 3 football games from Arlington Texas to Ann Arbor Michigan and then to Indianapolis. They treated us with respect and us feeling like at home when we are a long way from home. This is a highly recommended place for anyone. Take our words and stay for a night and see what we mean. We give Relax Inn 110% .

The employe owner very nice person 110 % good man beast in morning milk was full and cold I drank only half a gallon cereal was great/2 bowls only ..took some pastries for the road coffee was fresh :) really satisfied with price I'm a trucker from texas

The building is a bit old but the carpet looked new, the bed was super comfy and the front desk welcomed me even at a very late hour. I did not check out the breakfast although it was offered as we had other plans. The rate was excellent and I would definitely stay here again.

One light was burn out and there was no cover on the bathroom light ( it was under the sink. Lol)

Room was clean, was quiet location and bed was very comfortable.

Requested downstairs room due to having someone who has a handicap and could not climb stairs very well and was given an upstairs room.

Clean & nice rooms. Worth the price.

I reserved for $58.. I was charged $70.. I am personally tired of a tax being in on app reservations & being charged for additional tax when paying for room.. that’s not fair to be hit with tax twice.. needs to be changed and I won’t be reserving any more rooms online. Price is never the same at time to pay..

Very well lit. The buildings and parking lot were very safe feeling. The front desk guy was very nice and polite. The bed was comfortable. Shower had great pressure!

The room was a bit run down, needed some repairs. $70 was a bit steep.

Great location, and amazing staff.

The bathroom in room 111 is in pretty bad shape. The faucets in the shower and sink MUST be replaced, the flooring was peeling up, and the base around the walls was pulling from the walls and haphazardly repaired with finishing screws.

Easy, fast check in. I called ahead to make sure room was available and on the first floor. Staff was courteous and helpful. This was not a business trip but I had to do a long Zoom training while on leave and the Internet, lighting, low sound, etc. was perfect. The rooms have recently been renovated and they are clean, updated, and inviting. Excellent Mexican restaurant with fantastic service across the street. Walking distance to several eateries.

The shower temperature was tepid at best...24/7. Absolutely nothing to do in the area except eat. NOTHING.

Room was clean. Beds were comfy.

I booked king bed, but was given 2 full. Clerk at desk was very hard to understand and did not know much about the area.

The electronic key cards do not always work, it take several attempts to get the room door open.
