Clean, comfortable bed, nice pool, close to convention center

The African American with the long braids who works at the bar in the evenings has no business working in a hotel. We ordered dinner from the bartender/waiter (he was great). When she brought out our food, she didn’t bring three other of our food items. She proceeded to tell us we didn’t order it and had ordered wrong before she huffed off to go make it. We informed the male bartender/waiter and he said we had ordered exactly what we said. I guess he talked to her. I was half afraid to eat my food as she said, “enjoy your food in a smart tone.” I wouldn’t eat there again with her working there if you paid me.

everything 😃 the hotel was awesome, the rooms smelled nice and was clean, the hot breakfast was very enjoyable and a lot of choices, you actually got to eat on real plates and utensils, I’m used to visiting hotels with plastic plates and silverware however the best on my list about staying at this hotel was the staff in particular one individual I have to compliment she wore many hats when I arrived she was front desk, bartender,and cook with no help at all she served us and everyone around with a smile on her face. I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff across the board from reception to the cleaners everyone went out of their way to be polite and engage with our children. Common area were very tidy and breakfast was good and on par for expectations.

The only knock during the stay was the cleanliness. Nothing was dirty or unclean, however I did notice that the pool was never cleaned in our 5 days at the hotel (same bandaid at the bottom of the pool our whole stay), although the water looked very clean. Also it may have been a timing issue, but our room only received housekeeping once while we were there. We ran out of some toiletries and towels as a result and had to call front desk.

Excellent breakfast and location. Lil high for us. But we managed this time. And if lil lower this would be our stay always. People in pool- all adults outside drinking while all kids inside pool- wild. ruined the experience of why we chose this hotel for granddaughter. Which was a need. But still nice. I think drinks shouldn’t be allowed by pool at all. if u have kids in pool. even tho outside seating by pool. Parents don’t seem care how the kids act. Water was way too cold for us to go in. Wonderful staff.

I believe I wrote that above in likes sorry. Fridge was froze up. Hot. But managed ok with ice for insulin.

Christine was a huge help!!!! She definitely went above and beyond, which we appreciate very much. The breakfast could’ve been a bit better (keep containers filled with fresh eggs, bacon, potatoes) but with COVID restrictions I certainly appreciated having a hot breakfast at all!!! The outdoor fire pit was phenomenal!!!! The housekeeping staff was very friendly, efficient and quiet. All around wonderful stay. Can’t wait to find an excuse, er REASON!, to come back. My thanks to the entire staff!

Honestly the one thing I didn’t like was the parking lot configuration although I’m aware that it’s set up to make the most of the property configuration. It was interesting getting in off the street but then to try to park a full-sized F150…. Yup. A bit of a squeeze but we made it work.

Very nicely located downtown, walking distance to many places.

We did have some old used water bottles and drinks in the mini fridge that didn’t get cleaned out and it took over 24hrs for our soap to get replaced. I noticed it seemed to happen with certain staff because other staff members were amazing and on top of everything.

wonderful customer service, Clean rooms, Comfortable beds, Large nice view with a large flatscreen that swivels The layout is exceptional, lights are not too harsh but aren’t dim either (nice balance) Plenty of outlets, The bathroom is excellent, Nice outdoor areas for leisure or walking Plenty of parking comfortable and spacious seating area

musty smell in halls, cleaning needs improved. stayed 3 nights same items in hall carpet entire trip. mirror in room was smeared. something was smeared on bathroom cabinet. kitchen staff on Saturday did not keep items stocked , everyone was asking for things.

Loved this place! It was located in a quiet neighborhood and the building was clean, inside and outside. The room was welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast was phenomenal! The bacon was crispy and delicious and the potatoes were yummy, just like I make it at home. I will definitely be back.

There was no microwave in the room but we had access to one.

The general manager lady is absolutely delightful and she made our stay exceptional. We were a large group all in town for a funeral and the manager and her son who primarily work the front dest were absolutely 100% incredible to us. Thank you for being so great, especially during a hard time!
