My friend Theresa and I had a wonderful fun time at your hotel and all the Shipshewana shopping and flea market. Our room was PERFECT.... we asked our housekeeper just for clean towels and she did.. told her that she did not have to change the sheets as we were staying two nights. We especially loved the pool and the hot tub and the ping pong AND the amazing buffet breakfast! you and your staff treated us like we were royalty -I feel we choose the correct week to visit as all the kids were back in school.. We will shout it from the rooftops about THE FARMSTEAD and we will definitely stay there again next year. Thank you Thank you a millions times!!!!!!! you're the best

nothing you could do... Though I feel the frustration of all ongoing construction

Location to shopping and activities is excellent. The staff on duty were friendly and helpful. A remote control not working was replaced immediately. Under extreme circumstances (there was a water break-no water at the property) the staff tried its best to help with bottled water, etc.

Not having water was very inconvenient. 😟 My husband had mowed our lake cottage yard on the way up and needed to shower upon arriving but couldn’t. The boil water notice meant no coffee with breakfast. The coffee maker in our room made poor quality coffee. Some hotels have Keurig-type coffee makers? It would have been nice to have been offered a rate reduction for the night.

We liked everything about our stay. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and hard working. The breakfast was more than we expected. The attendants made sure nothing ran out and did an excellent job. Our room was cleaned thoroughly each day. The property itself was well maintained. I randomly chose this property for our stay and I made a good choice.

I have nothing negative or didn't dislike anything about our stay and the property.

Breakfast was good. The room was just the right size. Housekeeping provided us with clean towels our second day there. The coffee in the lobby was a nice touch as we both enjoy a cup in the early evening. Staying across the street from the Flea Market was an added bonus.

There wasn't much not to like. One thing that was a bit annoying was the noise from the cubby that held the missing vending machine and the ice machine. A constant humming.

Very friendly personable and helpful front desk! Very thoughtful and tasty hot breakfast! Coffee and ice water are always available. The pool and hot tub area looked clean and was large and well designed. I wished we hadn't forgotten our swimsuits! Nice view out our window. The whole place was VERY CLEAN and peaceful. There were thoughtful snacks available to purchase, and books too. I bought a book. I felt very well taken care of.

Outside was clean and inviting. The gals at the desk were kind and courteous. Room was large and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Pool looked like a great place for guests to relax and have fun. Breakfast area was large with plenty of seating. There was a fair variety of items to eat. Nice friendly young people and adults working in the area. We look forward to staying with you again.

Disappointed that the waffle makers were not working. Orange juice tasted poorly and we saw several dumping it.

Have stayed before and always enjoyed the location and overall experience. This time the vibe was a little different.

The checkin experience was less than positive. I was told that I hadn’t paid for a room I had paid for and that the king size bed reservation would be two queens. I was correct on both points and the clerk apologized but before he did he told me I would have to be satisfied with what they had.

mattress ok, probably needs to be replaced- slept alright for two nights but a new more supportive mattress would be welcomed-breakfast needs to be improved-eggs were poor-not very bright or upbeat in breakfast area-suggest a price increase in room charge to significantly improve the overall breakfast offering

The hotel room was spacious and clean. The windows looked out on a beautiful countryside view. We noticed that it was very quiet. We did not hear voices in the hall, doors shutting, etc.like you often hear in hotels. The staff was excellent and very welcoming. We will definitely be back again.

The bathtub/shower faucet was not particularly user friendly, even with the note on the wall.

The room was comfortable. Our floor was quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast and the various selections and appreciated not having to go to another facility for breakfast.

We questioned if the room was completely cleaned. Nothing in the bathroom seemed to have been moved. However, the room was not unclean to start. Just wasn't sure if the room was cleaned after our first day.
