The hotel was close to the Morris Performing Center where we went to go for a jazz concert. We are theatre critics in Chicago and will be coming back to the center to do play reviews.

I don't like the fact that you have to pay to park at the hotel and the room seems a little bit outdated and needs an updated air/heat unit and USB connections..

Love the location. Love walking around the east raceway.

The hot tub not in service last few times we have stayed there. The last time we stayed the pool was also closed. We pick our hotel by amenities. Which we enjoy using hot tubs so was very disappointed it's been closed over a year.

Great value and nice place to stay for a Notre Dame football weekend. Room was clean, staff was helpful and hotel was easy to access and close to Notre Dame campus and close to many great restaurants and bars in downtown South Bend.

The on-site sports bar was a poor experience as the staff was inattentive. We sat down at the bar after the ND game to have dinner and a couple beers and not one staff member even acknowledged us. After 10 minutes we got up and left.

Staff was very nice. Room was very clean. The lobby restaurant was very nice, although I do wish it were open more often.

The main reason I chose the Hotel was for the sauna and hot tub, which was closed the entirety of my stay and evidently had been closed for several weeks, despite your website still bragging about how great it was. Several hotels around you were cheaper, but I did not go to them because of your sauna which I was never able to use. The parking is atrocious and it would have been nice to know that the parking garage is not able to house a regular size pickup truck, forcing me into a tiny, very difficult to maneuver lot off the beaten path.

I ate in town two of three mornings. Breakfast offerings were good, nothing over the top spectacular. More fresh fruit and better coffee would have been the capper.

We were in room 309. There was an odor all weekend, emanating from the bathroom area - maybe the vents. It was not the toilet. I noticed the lobby men's room - just short of the restaurant entrance, also had a foul smell. I only used it as I checked out or I would have mentioned it to someone. There may have been a plumbing/ventilation issue?

Didn’t do breakfast the hotel was clean the 2nd floor had a lot of opportunity but no crowd, the bar closed early, no entertainment this venue potential is amazing but not for filled. The young black gentleman at checking was very professional and knew a lot about surrounding area .

See above, 2nd floor completely wasted area , no entertainment, restaurant empty bar close before 11pm.

Our room was comfortable, everyone was very pleasant. We swam in the pool for a little bit and ate our meals at the restaurant. We loved the proximity to Morris venue, we went to see a performance. The complimentary cookies were delicious!

I think the only thing is it would be nice for the restaurant to post their menu or have a qr code to look and decide if that's what you want.

Everything. And the staff were amazing. From check in (arrived early because of flight, accomadated us. All the way down to when I saw the room, and after realizing MY error in thinking it would look out over the river, but it was atrium view, had NO problem switching me to one with a street view). A beautiful hotel, with an amazing staff!

To be completely honest, just minor things. There wasn't a soda machine on my floor. And perhaps a little closer attention to the sanitizer dispensors by the elevators. Did it detract from my stay? Not at all.

Booked for a simple overnight stay. Facilities were clean, atmosphere was nice, employees very welcoming. Would stay again. There was an issue after our stay, where I got charged double the tax on my debit card. However, I called and they resolved it very quickly. Awesome customer service.

Was a bit expensive for what it was, but I understand that the location ups the price. Recently stayed at a 2-star motel for half the price and it was great as well. While I enjoyed my stay here, I don't think the room was double as nice as the motel's. I get it though, it's South Bend.

The location was perfect for our trip. 1 block from the Morris Performance Center. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Cookies upon arrival were such a nice touch
