Motel 6-Des Moines, IA - North

I like that it's easy to find right off the interstate and a great location. I also liked the rooms they were a little small but nice. I loved the location because I work in Ankeny off of 235 so it was an easy drive to Ana from plus I love ur pet policy I have two small dogs that go everywhere with me so yeah I need a place to keep them

The only bad thing about this room was the door it didn't have the weather strip at the bottom and could see lots of light plus the door looked like someone tried to break in it at one time. Other than that I enjoyed my stay

It was very comfortable and the night clerk was really nice.

Pot smell, loud people outside, large dog barked most of the night, and there was no shampoo so I had to use bar soap to wash everything including my hair.

Bed was decent, air was powerful, towels were clean.. Seemed safe enough, but get inside before dark if traveling alone.

It was like sleeping on the shoulder of a highway! Any rooms facing the highway in the 100's and 200's avoid! Quality Inn next door would be the same way. Red Roof was further away might have been better. The rooms on the back side would have cut down some of the noise. Right off the highway, but you definitely pay for that with the cement walls. They should charged less for this side, like $50 with a disclaimer stating my first statement... Stairs to get to the 2nd floor...didn't see any elevator. Seems to be used as construction worker atmosphere with full time living arrangements and broken down cars in the lot.

Convenient location right off the interstate. Everything I needed was in close proximity to the property, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The best Motel 6 I’ve stayed at so far and I would highly recommend it to everyone!!

Price close to where I needed to go the next day.

It was kinda dirty. The shower had dirt on the bottom so when you took a shower you were in mud. Old empty soap wrappers laying everywhere. I woke up with a roach crawling on me.

Staff was good to me room was clean everything worked except door but not a big deal easy fix it was quiet I've stayed there before and will next year

The door didn't seal right big gap the flies were getting in. The other big problem is the people that live there are slobs alot of trash broken down cars trucks with flats drug use easy to spot people living in one car plastic trash bags covering windows

no traffic sounds & it’s sitting in a lot which is sort of secluded from the city and the road. woke up to bird sounds :)

The staff was very honest I forget my Phone 13 and I called the front desk they held it for me until I could come back to get it Thanks for having honest employees and for doing that for me .

Front desk staff was very friendly and willing to go out of her way to accommodate my needs

Broken down cars in parking lot seemed to have been there for a long time

I'd left a jacket behind after a recent stay. I called the motel, and had a return plan in place in minutes. Coat arrived a week later. Many thanks to these tremendous folks for their fantastic response.
