The kind lady at the desk was so very helpful. I didn't catch her name but she could help with almost anything I needed. The Viking Motel is located on the main drag of Lindsborg, very easy to find and right next to the Pizza Hut, a liquor store and right across from Caseys convenience store. It IS a motel so it's not lavish or fancy but it was CLEAN and has all the basics a room should have.

They must be a bit short staffed because no one was at the counter when we first tried to check in. We had things to do in town so we just came back later and the very nice lady was there. They are still pretty old school, made us fill out a sheet of paper with our information on it. Probably the most inconvenient thing of the property is there was no ice machine. The kind lady at the counter gave me a baggie with some ice for my cup but I felt bad having to ask for a refill the next day.

The location of the hotel was close to the cute town (within a mile walking distance. It was easily accessible from highway. Although the motel could use a bit of updating, the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant and helpful. The motel had the amenities we needed, just the rooms appear a bit outdated. Beds were comfortable with homelike sheets rather than white . Breakfast was a bit limited, but the small orange clementine was good. Coffee tasted a bit odd though. Overall it is a pleasant stay.

I prefer white sheets as it seems more hygienic. Rooms are bit dark and outdated.

Staff. The lady at reception was very nice! I also felt the room quality for the price point was VERY good! Worth the drive from Salina for the difference in price, and we found Lindsborg to have a lot of great local things to see and do while we were in town.

For the price point, nothing was to my disliking. The room was clean, and location wasn't bad at all. It's not the same as more expensive places, so don't expect it to be. But, it was MORE than enough for a place to stay overnight, and the price point was very good for what you get.

Owner took us in late and was friendly. Really nice and enjoyed our conversation. Breakfast was basic, so provided us with directions to a place that was great!

No toilet paperwork or enough towels when we arrived. Plus, a pizza box from previous guest left on top of closet. Overall clean, just missed a couple things.

The room was beautiful. The bed was soooooo comfy. The shower was pressure. The lady at the front desk was super sweet and informative. It was a fantastic stay

Really the only complaint was that the remote didn't work great from the comfortable chair in the corner 🤣

I liked how clean it was. The staff was courteous and kind. We had little to no issues being here. The price was wonderful for being so last minute. Three nights for less than $200, yes please!! There was also two restraunts literally right across the parking lot and the Casey's across the street. We had plenty of option for food and shopping so close by.

It was a little warm since they only have a small window unit in the room and the shower was very temperature touchy. But other than that I was pretty happy with my stay!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave great suggestions about what to see, where to eat, etc. Room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. Had all the amenities necessary. It was remarkably quiet.

The EVAC unit in our room was above a cabinet that held the water heater. No remote control, so had to climb up on shelves/luggage rack to get to the control. Unit was very noisy & seemed to run a bit too frequently. Avoid Room #115 if at all possible!!! TV remote was a little complicated, but front desk person gave very good instructions so we were able to figure it out.

The breakfast was okay for continental breakfast. Liked the cold fruit especially and the juice.

everything in room was fine for one night. Construction work (painting, trim) was sloppy, but not my house!

I don't remember that they had a breakfast

When i stayed there last year the ice machine was broken. no ice machine this year. will try and remember to call next year before i book my room to se if it is repaired if not will change motels
