The room was beautiful and clean. The shower was huge! The lady overlooking the breakfast was wonderful! She was so sweet and gave us nice tips for when we visited the Ark Encounter.

Housekeeping walked in on me as I was getting dressed right at 10:00 and came back banging on the door three more times. Checkout wasn’t until 12:00. We checked out at 11:00 so all the rushing us out of the room was quite annoying. We arrived early from Georgia but wasn’t allowed to check in early but we were being rushed out by housekeeping.

Our room was clean and freshly painted. Front desk was very friendly. Comfortable bed. Clean beddings and pillows. Dishes, pots and pans, as well as utensils were provided. Laundry room was feet away. Pet friendly and the pet fee is very reasonable. Sound proof (except for the sounds in the hallway of course). Giant TV screen.

WiFi connection kept dropping during the day, making it hard to work remotely. Exposed carpet tags by the side door to the pool, which was extremely dangerous for my pup. People did not pickup after their dogs. Shower constantly dripped.

Breakfast was good. I would have liked more healthier options and more beverage options. The beds were comfy. The staff was polite, helpful and kind..The pool was clean and refreshing. Our kids enjoyed it too. Having a kitchen in our room was great because we planned to cook meals the majority of our stay. Everything was clean..but I suggest adding a sponge, dish soap, a flat cooking sheet and a couple mixing bowls. We improvised.

I was fine with the rooms not being cleaned until after we left, but would have liked more large towels in the laundry room, to grab if we needed. Whenever I went down to grab a couple, there were none. We had 6 stay in our room and we had to improvise on where to hang all our shower towels to dry..only having one towel bar in the bathroom made that difficult. I would have liked the hand towel to hang somewhere too. Lastly, the DVD library is a great idea. Need more teenage, and kid movies, preferably age and moral appropriate..

My wife and I have stayed at more hotels around this country than I could count, this is one of the best experiences at a hotel I have ever had. The lady working the front, maybe the owner/manager was so welcoming and helpful, even short staffed everything was clean and ready when we arrived. The room was bigger than I expected and very clean and neat with a personal note welcoming us to the hotel. I can't say enough about this hotel and will be the only place we stay when in the Cincinnatus area. I felt safe, it was clean, and was reasonably close to anything we wanted to do or see.

I hate to even put anything here, my only recommendation for the future would be very small things that don't really affect my stay at the property. The things that matter were there and need no improvement.

The breakfast was unique. It was an assortment of pre-packaged frozen "Jimmy Dean" breakfast sandwiches along with a variety of Hostess breakfast snack cakes and donuts. It also included some cold cereal, coffee, milk and juices. Great for on-the-go meals. The room was large with a true full kitchen including a full fridge, stove, oven, and dishwasher!. The living area and table for eating were really nice.

I didnt realize the front desk was only open until 8pm. It seeemed like even during the day there was many times that someone was not available. Its a more unconventional hotel that seems more like a bed and breakfast then a hotel.

The atmosphere is peaceful. You almost feel like no one else is around. It just feels like a home away from home; but most of all I feel safe. I have been coming here for at least the past four years , if not more!

The mattress is pretty hard but that does not deter me giving Ashley Grove the thumbs up! It's great that no smoking is allowed in the rooms and that people have to go outside, however, the area is right outside the entry door, at least in the back entrance. It makes it kind of uncomfortable when you aren't a smoker to have to pass those smoking in order to get in the building.

Everything - I have never been so enthusiastic about reviewing a stay at a hotel. This was a last minute stay due to an illness & I couldn’t have been more impressed. If I was running a hotel this is exactly how I would have it set up. I had a lot of traveling to do before & after the stay so the flexibility with check out was AMAZING. it’s super rare to find a place that lets you check out at 12pm! Was very grateful for this since I had very little sleep the day before & was able to catch up a little before a 12hr drive back home. Check in was also the easiest I have ever come across as well - same day online booking & they had everything ready for me - gave an excellent informational page with everything you could possibly have a question about. The set up of the room is so convenient, they really take advantage of the space. Having a full kitchen in a standard room was a huge plus. They gave complimentary pop corn & pens, they have a ton of DVDs in addition to cable if you desired. Water pressure & rain shower were amazing. I slept too late for breakfast but it was available & area looked really nice. Really felt like home away from home! My husband & I will definitely be returning & even would go out of our way to stay at this hotel again.

The internet was a little slow, but it could have been the work I had to do did demand a lot. I was able to stream my baseball game no problem 👍

Nice room, equipped kitchen, updated bath, and comfortable living and dining area. The common area/breakfast area was comfortable and clean. The staff was outstanding, helpful and friendly.

No tub or bar In shower. that could be a liability if someone falls. I couldn’t shave my legs. The bed was very uncomfortable. There was a funky smell in the room, needed a deep cleaning. The breakfasts left a lot to be desired, very few healthy options. The fruit that was there was sparse (only bananas, oranges, and apples) and much of it was bad; they could have at least had hard boiled eggs. breakfast was included. That’s part of the reason why we chose this place. However, we still had to end up spending money on breakfast elsewhere.

The staff is unbelievable!..my reservation thru booking.com was made for the wrong week. After hours trying to get someone on the phone I gave up..but the staff at the front desk refused to give up. They kept at it until they got things straightened out..saved our trip!..I had read other reviews before booking here and they all talked about the efficient and friendly staff.thats one the reasons I picked it..and they were 100% correct!..I can't say enough about them..throughout our stay they continued to bend over backwards to make us comfortable and see to our every need...the hotel is clean and nice..but its the personnel that makes it a place to come back to again and again

Ok I look for places with a hot breakfast..that is one my main things..it was advertised as having a full hot breakfast, but all there was is some dry cereal,a couple dried out muffins,..very disappointing..considering how great the staff is and all the good things here..there's no excuse for this..just don't even have breakfast if this is it..also the pool was closed as was the exercise room..none of this was revealed until we already had checked in..if you aren't gonna have the amenities then don't advertise it

clean, nice landscaping, easy to find, clean bedding and towels/wash cloths, comfortable pillows and nice comforter, cute kitchenette in our room. staff was friendly and kind. it was nice to have continental breakfast, especially since a lot of hotels seem to be doing away with that amenity. air conditioner worked well. staff gladly helped with extra towels/wash cloths and bedding.

Bathroom could’ve been a little more detailed. It was not horrible, just could’ve spent more time on cleaning the floors and toilet. I used a couple wash cloths to clean the bathroom floor and it was dirty. I know it would suck cleaning the bathrooms after every guest, especially the ones who don’t clean up after themselves. Carpet needs deep cleaned. People probably walk around with their dirty shoes on and over time that tracks and makes the carpet icky.
