SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Airport South

Breakfast was not as good as it used to be, but was palatable. Also, there used to be potatoes but now there is none.

Room was very clean, but there was one waste basket for the toilet area but no waste basket in the powder/shower room. Additionally, I will not be booking through Booking.com in the future as we were unable to take advantage of my husbands "first Responder" discount through them but we were told at the hotel that we should have booked it through Marriot in order to receive this discount. Those who put their life on the line should be given a more beneficial discount through Booking.com.

Whenever we took a shower, the water overflowed onto the bathroom floor, making it very wet. It appears that fitted shower doors need to be installed to keep the water inside the shower. A shower curtain alone is not adequate. I'm not sure how there is not a mold problem in the hotel with all the showers overflowing the floor every time someone showers. It was also inconvenient because we had to use clean towels and try to mop up all the excess water on the floor and wring them out inside the shower.

The room was spacious and clean. We liked the divider between the seating area and the sleeping area. They had the bathroom and the shower in two separate spaces, each with its own barn door, which was really nice with a bunch of teenagers! The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

We had to go down to the front desk to get bedding for the trundle bed and couch, it must not have been restocked from the previous stay. The pool was closed for extensive repairs, and we didn't know that until we arrived.

Great outdoor seating! The room was wonderful, we stay in many hotels and this one was the best by far! comfortable bed, soft towels and great room lay out! Breakfast was a “true breakfast”. Great location, walkable distance to great restaurants, Target is a 5 minute walk, Casino is 3 minute walk.

I didn’t like that the hot tub and pool area was closed. we have stayed in this line of hotels many times and have been pleased, but this time I chose it only for the hot tub. the pool and hot tub are closed and that was never mentioned when I booked

Property was clean. Parking lot was very well lit. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Loved the fact that there was a separate tiolet closet with sink.

The sink in the toilet closet did not have a counter or a soap dispenser & towel hanger. The lighting in the vanity/shower area was a bit lacking. Not quite dark, but a bit shaded.

it was close to target and all the food choices you could imagine. We could even see a track behind out hotel where people were riding horses. such a neat experience.

the size of the pool and amount of chlorine in the pool. i could barley keep my eyes open. Once we proper the doors open to the outside we could breath again.

Every employee we interacted with was friendly and helpful.

The only issue I had was a covid related issue. We stayed for 4 nights and there was no one to clean the room or take out the trash daily. On the 3rd day someone made our bed but did not remove the trash or freshen up towels/shampoo/bodywash etc. I could not find anywhere to put the trash so it built up the entire time we were there. I had to go and find someone to get more toilet paper and towels. All the employees were very respectful and kind. My complaint is more of a policy issue.

Huge room and separate potty and shower rooms with sink in each that made it nice for a couple to each have a getting ready space. Very nice staff!

Bright light from casino next door but used pillows to block out the light.

The room was nice and spacious. The workout facilities were really nice and clean. The breakfast was also very good. I've stayed at other SpringHill Suites and the properties are always a great choice.
