Ease of close numerous self parking- great hotel decor Loved having all the shops and restaurants right there to walk to. We had brunch one morning in hotel restaurant and staff/food there was great.

Front desk staff were not warm nor inviting- we seemed to interrupt them on check in and check out. They were short and brief- asked for license and handed over keys. No welcome or layout or even where elevators were etc. No fault of hotel but our room had a shared door with a VERY loud family- late into the night- with young kids yelling and running. It did not seem very busy so maybe space out/not place visitors in connecting rooms if others are available.

Very clean, interesting decor, very convenient to shopping and restaurants; front desk gave us a better rate for our second night than we would have gotten online.👍🏻

did not like having a sliding barn door on the bathroom!!👎🏻 looks cool, fine for traveling alone but not with others sharing a room ! Sheets and pillowcases were a bit scratchy; breakfast was so-so, & not necessarily a good value...$12 just for pancakes with no sides was a bit disappointing.

Honestly everything was great except the room wasn’t very clean. There were giant handprints on the sliding door, shower wasn’t clean and there was a lot of dust. The hotel was very well decorated and all of the team members were friendly. Would also have been nice to have a small fridge but that didn’t really change our opinion either way.

i can not say enough positive things about this hotel, it was PERFECT!!! A++++ We stayed five nights and wanted to stay longer. We would come again in a heartbeat, I have already told all of our friends, if you visit Lexington, you must stay at the Origin!! Thank you for making my dream vacation wonderful.

My big complaint is breakfast. Would very much have liked access to a quick, continental style breakfast in the morning, with coffee and food item you could grab and go - a scone, a yogurt, a hard boiled egg or egg sandwich, even a granola bar. And most of all - COFFEE. It was a pain to have to go off property to Starbucks every morning. How about a small coffee shop in the lobby, even an urn with regular and one with decaf? Did not want to sit and order from a menu. And making coffee in the room is rarely satisfying - coffee pods (like Keurig) are terrible coffee, no real milk, etc. thanks!

I enjoyed staying the night at the Orgin hotel before a flight out of LEX. The location is amazing if you are looking to stay in the Fritz Farm location. Lots of walkable shopping and dining. The hotel itself was okay, it was not the most comfortable stay, if you are looking for comfort as the most important quality you may want to search for other sites. This is more of a boutique-style hotel, with those artistic design aspects more of the priority.

As mentioned above, the rooms were not as comfortable as some other hotels, more of a boutique style of stay. Our check-in and out was a little disorganized, the staff was extremely friendly, but seemed to be a little distracted with other things happening (an event was going on at check-in, our check-out was super early due to our flight time, no one was at the desk).

great hotel but …

the shower door tracks are getting a little mucky. also I called specifically to check the hours of the restaurant so I could bring my daughter for a late dinner. the desk said it was open till 10 but when I got there they closed extra early. I would have eaten on the way if they were going to close early. they closed early despite the fact that they knew I was on my way. also the cocktail was not as good as precious times.

I have not stayed at such a beautiful hotel In a long time. I booked at the last minute the day of my reservation when I decided to split a long drive home from Tennessee. I was shocked to be able to get a room in Lexington two days before the Kentucky Derby. The staff was superb with recommendations and very helpful, and the room was so well appointed, colorful, and comfortable I was sorry to leave after one night! I will definitely come back and stay and possibly for more than one night.

I wasn’t clear on where I was supposed to park so I ended up parking a little too far away for handling my luggage.

This hotel is on the edge of a pedestrian friendly new urbanism oasis with a Whole Foods, chain restaurants, and well designed public spaces. The hotel was incredibly spacious and clean, with interesting design features. It also was priced below other national chains. It was perfect.

Nothing. It was that good.

I didn't partake of breakfast. I did eat at the in house 33 Staves restaurant and the food was lovely. I wasn't able due to my schedule to try the delightful menu options, but I'm sure based on the dinner I enjoyed it would be delicious.

There wasn't the convenience of an in-room refrigerator, and my room had a very nice shower, but I'm a bathtub person. Overall, fabulous stay.
