I recently stayed at The Manchester in Lexington, KY, and had a great experience. The hotel was very clean and stylish, with a wonderful scent throughout. The atmosphere felt classy, and the location was perfect—within walking distance to the Distillery District and downtown Lexington. The only downside was that valet parking is required, which can be a bit of an inconvenience, but the service was quick and friendly.

The staff was incredibly professional, helpful and friendly and provided very helpful recommendations. A+++++ The Manchester Hotel is well styled, very chic, super clean and welcoming. Our room was stylish & comfortable, it had a plethora of items you could purchase to drink or eat already in the room & a cute little bag you could leave on the door to order up a light breakfast to be delivered to your room the next morning. There were luxurious robes, silent A/C, a large bathroom & shower w. lovely smelling full size soap, shampoo, conditioner. The valet was always courteous & prompt, opening car doors, hotel doors, etc. VERY classy! The hotels restaurants and bar were ALL very stylish & clean; we ate at Granddam on Mothers Day and had an incredible wild mushroom appetizer! Our entrees were unique, gourmet, delicious, plated well and the staff was attentive. We would definitely stay again.

We took a flyer on this hotel and am so happy we did. The weather wasn't the best but that was irrelevant. From the minute you walk in, you are struck by the lobby. It's so unusual-it feels like you are in someone's living room whom has traveled the world! Design is off the charts cool. Because it was lousy weather, we decided to eat and drink at the hotel. The rooftop bar is the BOMB! LA was our bartender and we became fast friends. We are tequila drinkers and his special drink-I think it was called "laid back vibes" was sooooo good and I don't like Mescal!! The design feels like you are in Palm Springs in the 60's. Very cool. The food, we had the cubano and the Churrasco-delicious. We plan on coming back next year!

The room that accomodates 4 is set up like 4 train berths with full-size beds. My children thought it was very cool. These are not bunk beds, but sturdily built lofted beds.

We ate at the restaurant in the hotel where nuts were added to dishes without specifying the ingredient on the menu. BE CAREFUL! My son became ill and it spoiled our evening. The hotel comped his meal, but should have comped the entire dinner since we all suffered. He was quite sick for hours so we didn't have a restful night.

The bar staff was fantastic! My husband and I came to the Manchester just for an overnight getaway. We usually like to go out for dinner and then come back to the hotel bar to relax. So the hotel bar and staff can really make or break our trip. We were hoping to see the rooftop bar but it was closed while we were there but the very personable & knowledgeable bartender made the lobby bar worth it. We're hoping to come back soon to check it out as well as the restaurant.

Paying valet parking that was literally feet from the entrance of the hotel lol

The place is carefully decorated and has a luxurious feel to it. Staff was generally very good. The food was also good.

There were two baristas, a man and a woman. The man was good, the coffee the woman made was bad to mediocre. The BIG problem with the hotel was that because the walls of the rooms were not very sound proof, we were constantly disturbed by slamming doors but the REALLY BIG problem was that our last night there we could hear the tv from the next room, which was set to some sort of default welcome to the hotel screen, playing the same horrible song over, and over, and over all night. We didn't know what it was until morning when we figured it out. I would like to give the hotel a better review, because is is a generally very upscale location with good food and service, but after the sleepless night, I can't. Also, the location is not downtown and you would not want to walk to there from it.

My room was beautifully and comfortably designed. Extremely comfortable mattress and I think the sexiest 2-person shower I’ve seen in a long time. Loved the vibe of the lobby bar where I had dinner and cocktails. Also liked the car valet setup. Able to request and tip the valet through the app. Don’t need cash

Staff behind the bar was stressed and “in the weeds” that Saturday night and not making any effort to mask that reality. Not sure guests at the service end of the bar should be able to overhear the grievances on staff playing out.

Beautiful inside. The rooftop “Lost Palm” was amazing the food was delicious the staff were super nice all around the Hotel. The rooms were nice and the bathrooms were stunning. Never saw a hair dryer though. Our room has robes as well and even though the view was less than par. The roof was painted with a mural to make up for it. Well done!

Parking I could say. Valet was great but the parking is so close that we just kept asking the valet for our key..

So so good, it's a designer's dream. I arranged my overall traveling budget so I was able to stay here, and it was so worth it. It's one of the best beds I've slept in. Bar at night was a good vibe, apparently it's more popular for an older crowd.

Shower glass wall is short so the water spills over to the bathroom floor. Reception staff and bar staff were very stiff and serious.

Amazing!! One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at and I have stayed in the best. Decorated perfect and the room was gorgeous and luxurious. Service was top notch. They had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for our anniversary in our room and we didn’t even ask. The rooftop and downstairs bar are both really great. Loved it. Seems like you are in NYC hotel.

The dinner entrees were a little too saucy salty and rich. And the espresso martini was not good.
