The continental breakfast was great, the receptionist/concierge (Ms. RJ!!!) was fabulous, cleanliness in every aspect of the hotel, great sized room, comfortable beds, great a/c thermostat RJ was the most exceptional receptionist I think I've ever encountered. She was friendly from the start and so very helpful when it came to recommendations around town. I'm not sure if Concierge is part of her title or not, but it definitely should be! So accommodating.

The 2 issues we had were that 1) the bathtub leaned to the side and made you feel off balance. 2) We had VERY noisy upstairs guests who at 2am were STILL stomping around and slamming doors. They had been doing it throughout the night already. Maybe we could have called the front desk but I didn't want to wake my mom up and make her worry; I guess I was hoping that maybe a night guard or a staff member would have caught it themselves. I decided to play rain and thunderstorms from my phone to drown out the sound.

We were surprised to see how much was offered for breakfast. There was the biscuit and gravy, omelets, bacon, sausage, fresh pancakes, cinnamon rolls, plus fresh fruit and more. The facility was very clean, the staff was always helpful and nice. You must eat at Drake's near the hotel... Burgers, Beer and Sushi was awesome!

The key cards would stop working every day at 11 and they needed reactivated. They also were very sensitive when trying to open the room door. The side door never worked for entry. We always had to walk around.

Close to downtown & University, shopping, comfortable beds, quiet, great breakfast, front desk gentleman was phenomenal at check-in and throughout our stay (extremely welcoming & accommodating, excellent first impressions. KY hospitality is second to none.)

The loss of regular housekeeping due to Covid does make it feel like less of a value for your money i.e., making the bed, emptying own trash, exchanging dirty towels for clean at front desk detracts from the travel experience particularly for a longer stay.

This hotel was an excellent overnight stay. Location was great, restaurants were close by and just a short drive to Rupp Arena. The staff was really nice and professional upon arrival. The room was really nice, spacious, and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this facility, and if I need to stay overnight in Lexington in the future, I will definitely be staying at Holiday Inn Express and Suites Lexington Downtown Area-Keeneland.

It was the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in and I have traveled a lot for work and leisure. The staff was phenomenal. They were polite and courteous. They mad you feel at home. The breakfast was great. It's nice to get a warm breakfast on a cold morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

There is nothing I could complain about. The place and the staff were great.

The room and bathroom were very clean, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was well stocked with soap, shampoo conditioner, hair dryer, and towels. It was nice to have tea and coffee provided in the room. The TV was easy to use. Nice that hand sanitizing wipes were available for remote and phone. Jon at the front desk was exceptionally nice and welcoming.

We could hear footsteps and ceiling creaks from the room above us. The AC unit was very loud. The ceiling vent in the bathroom was fuzzy.

The breakfast was exceptional. Everything was hot and tasty. A great variety too. The pancake machine was great. Clean and organized! If I was management Id post a polite sign to eat in the dining area OR take a grab n go bag. Not both. I don’t see how you can afford both.

Great service and only a ten minute drive straight down the road to downtown Lexington ! Also plenty of restaurants within walking distance . The staff are very friendly and helpful with anything you need. So much to see and do in the area !

The breakfast was great - would have liked to have a water dispenser. Buffet with many options and well stocked. Two ladies kept the area very clean.

The lighting in the bathroom was dim. Would have liked one of the magnifying mirrors or at least another mirror in the room for close up. Otherwise everything was perfect!

the property simply amazing, one of the best hotel I have stayed, everything new and clean, the breakfast really good wide variety to choose from, and the staff really professional and friendly, the check in and check out will not take more than 1 minute. totally satisfied with my stay
