Cambria Hotel Louisville Downtown-Whiskey Row

Two short blocks from the baseball field. A newer hotel that was well thought out for today's living needs. Room was well lit and had plenty of power outlets of all types of input cables. Desk space was big and well located to see the TV. Bed was comfortable (probably too soft for my liking). Walk in shower was largest I've every used. Yay!

The only thing... The King size bed was oriented sideways to traditional alignments of hotel rooms. I liked it because the location of the desk and other amenities was better, but it meant very little room on one side of the bed. I had to shuffle into the bed between the bed and the wall. But I would deal with it again because everything else was spectacular.

my girlfriend lost her phone in our Uber driver's car and the front desk person sent it to the wrong address. i paid to have it mailed overnight and that didn't happen. i was sent a photo of the mailing address the phone was sent to showing it was incorrect and nothing was ever done to help with the inconvenience. i got the phone back, but feel like someone should have done something to help. i was given the run around by everyone I contacted,

Location was perfect for attending a concert at KFC Yum! Center and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and the bath/shower was great! Pillows were top-notch. We even loved the ice bucket. We still had ice when we woke up in the morning instead of bucket of water like in most hotels!! Decor was beautiful, in rooms and in public areas. We really enjoyed the bar area and the bartender was fantastic, Juan!!!

The day before we arrived, Louisville had an ice and snow storm. The parking lot was completely covered and rather dangerous to walk on. The sidewalks were also ice and snow covered. It didn't appear that they had even attempted to try and clear it off. I understand it was really bad, but at least the sidewalk near the front entrance should have been attended to.

Enjoyed how comfy the bed was nice large king size. Ability to listen to music in bathroom via Bluetooth mirror. Food was delicious From the exterior I didn't expect how clean and vibrant it was. Very surprised!

The only thing I didnt like was the fact that a leak occurred in bar upstairs so dinner was in the cafe down stairs however it wasn't coordinated which menu to use. We had to wait until it was figured out. As a suggestion a procedure is put in place

Location was great - walkable to Whiskey Row. The hotel restaurant was good for breakfast too - very tasty.

Parking lot was closed so a gate could be installed. I had to park a block away. It would have been better if the lot was open without a fence being installed - that's what parking was like a block away, so confused why the hotel wouldn't opt for that situation as well.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Easy check-in. Affordable, gated parking onsite.

Like other metro areas, Louisville is challenged by their homeless population. The hotel has no control over this, but it is unfortunately situated in an area frequented by homeless people. It may not be safe to walk in this area during evening and nighttime hours.

We ate at the bar late one night and it was very good. The sever was also very sweet and attentive. The rooms were super nice and plenty of room. I especially like having a place to sit beside just the bed and desk chair. Pool was cold and I told the front desk( everyone at desk was very nice) and it was warm next time I went.

Everything was excellent. Southern hospitality is such a wonderful experience that they should teach it in every business! (I work in a middle school with 150 kids for 20 minutes a day, this was refreshing!) It's just wonderful to be in an area where there is respect & kindness shown to everyone, as it should be!

It looks like they refurbished and older building into something really nice. Kind of had a European feel to it. The staff at check in and check out were super nice and very professional. The folks at Jackdaws were really nice and knowledgeable. Room was perfect for 2 and would be great for a business trip as well.

Parking is a little tight, and overflow was across the street but really nothing major we did not like.

Beautiful hotel & great amenities. Lobby area was spacious with cool bar. Parking & snack bar were easily accessible. Hotel was within walking distance to much entertainment, food & drink. Room was clean & comfortable. All staff were friendly & very accommodating.

Paying for parking when the hotel room was already pricey.
