This hotel exceeded my expectations. I wanted something budget-friendly but not so cheap that I risked bedbugs. (Yes, I know you can get them anywhere) I paid $100 for one night which is a lot, but still on the lower end for comparable hotels. I thought the $100 cash deposit at check-in was strange, but it was returned to me the next morning. The room was larger than I expected and I could tell that every effort is made to keep the rooms very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great, too. Breakfast also exceeded my expectations, with a good variety of foods, all hot and fresh. There’s also a pool, but I didn’t use it. The family who runs the hotel is very polite and I felt like they take pride in running a well-maintained hotel.

Nothing not to like

Location, hotel was quiet. Check in staff and morning desk was fabulous! Thanks for making me fresh decaf coffee. Portable heater in room kept room very comfortable.

Need a little more attention to detail on cleaning. Bathroom vanity around sink and mirror needed a good scrubbing. Also, doors interior rooms and halls all have chipped paint. Appears they've been touched up several times. Some.look like the need replacement. Couch in lobby, cushions stained. Breakfast was fair. Very small strerofoam cups, no lids for coffee. Hot water for tea, lukewarm.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and the beds were super! The breakfast was wonderful.

We loved going to the pool area with our 5 year old niece and 10 month old grandson, but while in there a bunch of kids without an adult came in screaming and jumping in the pool. We ended up having to cut our pool time short because of their behavior. So we had to go back to our room with a crying 5 year old because we had to remove her from the pool

Plenty of space to move around in our room. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was really good, not an abundance of options but everything that we had tasted very good, with just enough variety. The staff was personable and extremely accommodating!

The pillows were small for what I am used to. It did look like they might be remodeling or had some type of flood/leaking recently. They had a bunch of tiles missing from the ceiling and noticeable water damage. The hotel did not smell wet, mildew or moldly. It also did not feel wet to the touch, so that is a good. Our first room didn't have any hot water so they moved us to a different room on a different floor and we had no issues with hot water from there on.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very spacious. Breakfast was great! The indoor pool was a plus as well.

The bath/shower was really small. The pool had just reopened the week before we arrived, and it was pretty cold. Some things were a bit outdated, like the TV, microwave, and mini fridge.

The pool was clean and nice. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was like other hotel breakfast except eggs were cut up boiled eggs to be scrambled.

Bathroom sink drained very slowly. TV stand was covered with ants, we even cleaned it and still was covered. There were ants also on the desk. We did not have any food or drinks out either. Little square pillows.

It was comfortable and easy to access. Online check in was convenient.

Although we were there before closing, coffee was nearly empty as well other main breakfast items were gone and the person working the area was not helpful or friendly.

Sassie was GREAT! She made sure we had room to have a meal with our family, since we were there from out of town for my husband's funeral. She ensured that we were all on the same floor, with plenty of towels and necessities. She answered questions and made everyone comfortable. She handled everything with ease and grace. I am not sure if she is the manager, but she should be. She also ensured that we had plenty of breakfast and gave us plenty of time, without rushing us. She was kind, professional and full of grace and class. She was also empathetic and sympathetic and sensitive of our situation, having lost a family member. The location was wonderful, off the Blankenbaker exit, near restaurants and shopping. The food was good. The children really enjoyed the indoor pool. Everything in the hotel worked, which is something I don't always see. Staff was very kind and professional. Suggestion to those reading my review: Check the Priceline prices. This hotel has a great price especially considering that it's on the East end of town. However, you might be able to get a lower price, if you book through Priceline. I booked with Priceline so I paid less than the website price and less than I would have on Bookings, even though I'm at "Genius" level on Bookings.

No issues

I requested a first floor room near an exit since my husband uses a walker and was given a first floor room just down the hall from the front desk. The room had a handicapped equipped bathroom which made it very easy for him to shower. There was a raised toilet. There was a comfortable easy chair in the room. There was a nice selection of TV channels and a channel list was provided. Quite a few electrical outlets provided. The next morning we were treated to a nice breakfast in the dining room.

It was a really nice hotel. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was sweet. The pool was nice.

The only thing that my girls were mad about is they wanted to get in th pool at 8:30 in the morning and the pool didn't open til 10 🤣🤣🤣.
