Very clean hotel and room. Etremely easy check-in with the app on my phone. I checked in a day early using my phone. Picked a room on the app and got a digital key. Never went to the front desk. Came in the side door, scanned the outside door with the digital key on the app (shake the phone at the lock), walked down the hall a few feet, scanned room door using the digital key on my phone. It unlocked no problem. Stayed 1 night and checked out next morning with the app also. Never ever talked to any staff members ever...not even once. They never met us or talked to us. Never had to go to the desk at all. We had breakfast in the morning and left. That was the easiest check in and out I've ever seen in my life. Also liked the bathroom (glass doors that open out) and the thermostat worked great and TV was big. The remote for the TV using the app is awesome. So convenient.

The bed and pillows are not that great. The bed was too hard for me and a bit uncomfortable. I was stiff and sore in the morning and the pillows didn't have enough feathers in them. Need more neck support. My daughter had the other queen bed and she had no problem, so it could have just been me. The shower just had warm water. Never got hot. The sink had hot water but the shower never got hot and you couldn't get it to go hotter. Again, not sure if it was just our room or all the rooms.

I was greeted by Tae in the most fantastic manner when I walked in. He is, hands down, the best hotel employee I have ever encountered. This man needs to be protected at all costs and given a bonus/raise, etc. He dealt with large crowds of very loud and rowdy kids more than once. God bless him for his patience! Even under that stress, he handled my request immediately and with happiness. As long as he's working there, we will come back! 12/10 rating for Tae!

The convenience to the highway, restaurants, area shopping couldn’t be better. There was plenty of parking, even for a truck pulling a 20’ trailer. Location was incredibly safe. The building was very well kept up, lit nicely & not your typical boring “beige” with orange or blue hotel decor. They had comfortable seating, including egg swing chairs with cushions, a pool table & all around a more “homelike” vibe than boring mid-priced hotels of similar caliber.

The bed wasn’t the most comfy bed I’ve slept on. I also love to snuggle with blankets, and this was a typical sheet with a duvet & insert. Nothing fancy Nothing special. Simply room to improve!

Hotel was very clean and welcoming! The breakfast was probably one the best free hot breakfasts I have had at a hotel before! The room was nice, but pretty small with no where to really sit unless you sat on the bed.

While the room was very clean. It was challenging to actually sit down and do any work on a computer because there was one chair and the "desk" was a small pull out desk, but you couldn't actually do much work on the desk since there was limited space at the end of the bed.

The front desk clerk John aka "A Mess" was amazing! From the time me and my family walked in he welcomed us with a big smile and warm and friendly personality. He was extremely helpful and professional with telling us about the facility and even recommended a great place for us to go for dinner near by. This was our first time staying at a Tru Hotel by Hilton and at this location. We will definitely be back and I hope John will be there to welcome us again! Keep up the exceptional customer service and job!

Extremely surprised. The hotel was very modern, minimalist, and clean. The downstairs area was wonderful for travel sports families to gather at after tournaments nearby. The breakfast was great and so was the coffee. Having a full food/snack/beverage counter like a mini convenience store in the lobby was wonderful as well. You have everything you could possibly need while staying here. I noticed staff cleaning all areas of the hotel multiple times a day and always felt clean which is saying something because I’m a neat freak and never feel comfortable at most hotels. Will absolutely be staying again.

I would have to be extremely picky to find something negative to write. I supposed my preference for sheets would have been standard cotton vs the silky texture because all of us were extremely staticky after sleeping in the bed. Literally the only thing I would change.

Super clean. AC worked incredibly well! Breakfast was great.

The most important thing about staying a night in a hotel is getting a good night's sleep. And the most important thing about a good night's sleep is a comfortable bed. Which is why I'll never understand why so many hotels, even nicer ones, insist on having mattresses that are hard as a rock! If I wanted to sleep on the floor I could do that somewhere for free. Come on, Tru, do better.

Very good breakfast. Hotel brand new and clean. A quiet location.

No reading lights by the bed. Had to go to the room door to turn lights off, and then find our way in the dark to the bed. Night desk manager was sleeping when we came down to ask for an extra bath towel.

What wonderful hotel! Modern, updated, and it's kept spotless. All the staff we interacted with, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, were so pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay here when we return to the Louisville area!

The entire hotel was without water the morning after our first night due to a main water break in the area. This was no fault of the hotel, and the staff handled the situation as best as could be expected. They had bottled water available for free, breakfast was not affected at all, and they even offered to refund our next night so we could book at another hotel. We decided to wait until the afternoon to see if water was restored and it was! We were so happy to not have to move to another hotel for our second night. This is a wonderful hotel!

Breakfast is above average compared to what you see in a lot of hotels. I enjoyed watching the machine make pancakes. The gym facilities are well equipped. The rooms are modern and very clean. We look around when we travel, but always end up at the same Tru by Hilton in Jeffersontown.

Hard to say. A waffle maker, perhaps?
