L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles

I liked the convenience of having, different places to eat, amenities, and shopping. I liked the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. Will come back!

Some of the room fixtures and furniture was pretty worn or damaged. That they no longer have a buffett, which was one of the varieties of going rather than going to different restaurants to eat and try different delicacies. No store or options for 24 hours if you suddenly got Ill.

The convenience of staying at the casino. The location with respect to the Mardi Gras parade. The beds were super comfortable!! I slept like a baby both nights.

The bathrooms inside the hotel rooms need to be upgraded soon. While the rooms were clean, grout inside the shower and the shower door needs sprucing up. I understand this is an older casino. The restaurant food was disappointing (Drago's dining was not open - only offered room service for a ridiculous price).

The restaurants were awesome Loved the pool area. Lazy River awesome and the adult pool awesome

Pool was absolutely awesome. Restaurants had GREAT food. Room was very differently beautiful and comfortable. Loved the snack bar and crème brûlée

While riding the lazy river, I was pulling cups and trash out of the bushes and setting them where anyone could see and pick up. However, many employees just kept walking past the trash like it wasn’t their job

Everything the valet was especially helpful several times they were all very very helpful and extremely polite

The maid did not come in and clean up our room on the second day Someone was trying to stay in our room with our room number without our permission in room 1113. I don’t know who this person was but it’s extremely uncomfortable and they did take care of it and they said they put him in another room.

guest services sucked. waited over an hour and then to be told room isn’t ready. talked to a manager and rooms were ready. don’t know why y’all want people to check in and no rooms. went to room and cleaning crew were on their phones watching YouTube. get it together. it should an in and out process when checking in. not check in and wait and go to pool with all your luggage and wait. if we did that the storm would have gotten everything wet.

The Pool closed at 8:00 pm. I thought it should stay open at least until 10:00 pm .

Amazing location close to the interstate - lots of restaurants, bars, casino, and pool (with lazy river) to keep you busy. All prices are reasonable and the room is definitely worth the money - really clean, spacious, and right on top of everything.

Only thing to be aware of is I think you can only access this hotel by road, so car or taxi/Uber. We used it as a stop-off on the way to New Orleans and it was perfect, but if travelling by other means just be aware.

I had such a great experience here! I’m absent minded & kept forgetting things I left in my vehicle & valet personnel were so accommodative & helpful. Never once lost patience with me. I assumed there would be a room fridge, as I need one for my medication & they were quickly bringing me a medical fridge. The tub…oh my goodness the tub was awesome! Very comfortable for a nice long soaking. The staff was very friendly & accommodative with my service dog also. The pillows were so.freaking.awesome. I seriously wanted to take them home with me (of course I didn’t) but wish I had because as I write this from my next casino hotel stop I’m sure missing L’auberge! We ate at Embers & it was delicious! Top-notch all the way around. I felt welcomed and like the staff wanted to be at work & were eager to assist.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t have enough time there, I never got to enjoy the amazing pool & lazy River & I wish I hadn’t been charged a resort fee without using the resort.

we were just married and we love the cleanliness of the room the comfortable beds and The view was magnificent the valet was courteous friendly and helpful it was a home away from home we loved it

We didn't like the fact that we didn't have a microwave but we ended up getting a refrigerator which was good but we didn't like the fact that we didn't get reimbursement of the money that we was owed $50 or whatever we was getting reimbursed for or back into my account.
