Studio 6 Lake Charles

Easy access to room. We requested rooms of other people in our party to be close to us and they were with no difficulty. The rooms were exceptionally clean. Beds were comfortable. All the appliances worked well. Loved the vinyl floors instead of carpet. Nice size fridge. Easy access to where we where we wanted to go.

Air conditioner was a little louder than expected in the room but didn't keep us awake and the fan in the bathroom as well was loud.

This was, by far, the cleaniest hotel I have ever stayed in. The carpeting was spotless in the halls, the hardwood in the room was not gritty, the tub, toilet and sink were all sparkling white and the fresh smell started the moment you walked through the front door. The kitchenette was very nice, deep sink so washing pots could easily be accomplished if needed, and I was surprised to even see a toaster! I will definitely stay again.

Honestly, the one and only negative I can come up with is the suspicious looking 3 young men hanging out at the side entrance of the hotel. They were polite and moved when we walked up so as not to block the door, but it was a little bit of a surprise when we walked around the corner and they were just there. They did not appear to be guests, but more so loiterers up to no good. I am a smoker so I had to walk out and away from the hotel to smoke, but because of these guys just hanging out by the rear door, my husband was not comfortable with me going out alone. This is in no way the hotel's fault, just be aware of your surroundings should you opt to stay there.

The stay was very affordable and the hotel was very clean and more spacious than I expected. It even came with a kitchenette and they make the rooms up daily. One of the best Studio 6's I've stayed in.

They didn't have a pool and you had to go to the front desk for basic amenities like shampoo, body lotion, facial tissue, and a hairdryer. Their "facial tissue" is essentially a roll of toilet paper.

it was in a great location, within walking distance of IHOP and Chili’s. Walmart was a short drive away. And it was only a short drive from Burton Coliseum. I was able to park just outside my room at the property.

The lighting in the bathroom was a little dark, but manageable.

This was my second stay there. My first was after Hurricanes Laura and Delta and the staff did an excellant job for my needs and that why I went back and will probably make that my first choice from now on.

Not the fault of the motel but Louisiana hotels taxes are outraegeously high.

The staff was kind and room were pretty decor

The room didn’t smell bad it just could have smelled more fresh. I would suggest to add a room deodorizer or a nice clean fragrance to it a signature smell. It is really the first thing the customer notices. Plz improve that and ratings would soar! Thank you and I hope your hotel consider this. Thank you

Kitchen area.

Not hotels fault but loud loud heavy duty truck revving outside window off and on during the night. Mattress could have been more comfortable. Also bed frame moves to easily. Just put some grippers on bottom of legs should solve the problem

Location was very comfortable. Lots of food places around.

Don't really have anything to complain about. Booked at a horrible hotel the same day before I ended up staying at Studio 6. Was very grateful to find this hotel at the last minute on booking.com for a reasonable price. Very satisfied that I was able to book here.

Room was clean and the size was larger than expected. With an accessible room unavailable we expected a problem because of my wife's wheelchair ♿ but were pleasantly surprised that it was no problem in the bath or sleeping are.

the room was not stocked with the supplies such as dishes, silverware or pans that we have found in other Studio 6. properties

I loved that it was quiet and nicely equipped (full kitchen complete with dishes, utensils & cookware)! My husband and I were excited to find a clean, non-smoking room not in a casino after searching unsuccessfully for one for 1 1/2 hours the night before because there was none available due to all the construction workers in Lake Charles repairing the hurricane damage there. The parking lot was set up much better than most others to accommodate the truck pulling a U-Haul trailer that we had. The front office person was a little difficult to understand but very nice!

It would have been nice to have a breakfast offered.
