Best Western Plus Ruston Hotel

The breakfast menu and eating area were fine. Menu good and area clean. Being able to get coffee 24 hrs was exceptional.

We did not have an ice bucket in our room. This little I know but when asked for one was told not all rooms have them and they could not get us one. Just gave us plastic bags to get ice. I asked for one for 2 days. We did not get clean face towels on our 2nd day and dirty ones left in room.

This was my 2nd year coming to this facility as my son plays 7U travel football. When I found out we were coming to Ruston, I booked with Best Western Plus versus the Fairview where the team was staying because I loved the location and the cleanliness of the hotel. I will always book with this hotel when we come to Ruston. Also, Ruston's Walmart and its workers ARE THE BEST!!

The location was perfect! We were in town for The Ruston Rumble Volleyball Tournament and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. I booked a double queen but the heat did not work in our room and the manager took it upon herself to resolve the issue before we even arrived. Due to the hotel being completely sold out, she could only sub our room for the king suite which did not have a foldout couch but we made do. After our stay, the manager even credited our bill for the inconvenience. We have already booked our room for the next tournament in February 🤗

Overall the stay was perfect for us, the only thing that was not the best were the beds were more firm than we would have liked, but definitely not a huge problem. The rooms were super nice. Had great breakfast options. We would definitely stay there again!

The beds were not the most comfortable. A little more firmer than we would have liked. Kind of disappointed that the pools were not available yet since it is already in the 90s at this time of year.

Our room was comfortable and the location was close to the freeway.

The front desk and housekeeping did not communicate and the room was still being cleaned when we went to it. We waited outside for five minutes. After we entered it I had to call the housekeeper back to vacuum the carpet. The shower door had not been cleaned but I didn’t notice till later. No breakfast at all - not even a to go bag.

Rooms should be dusted better and staff should do a better job at checking the bedding items. One our pillows and the pillow case should have been changed out.

Room was clean, good size and quiet. had a nice size mini fridge and microwave. The complimentary breakfast was good. I was expecting cereals, breads and fruit. There was also a waffle maker, biscuits, eggs and bacon.

Wish the shower was hotter. Also we were a party of four but only had three towels.

All employees with the exception of the front desk when I checked out where very friendly. The young lady seemed to be having a bad day.

Breakfast, comfy bed, Ms. Paige was extremely busy but was still pleasant.

Check in took over two hours because our room wasn’t ready at 3 pm

No breakfast because of covid.

I arrived to a 79 degree room. I called n was told that there were no maintenance people at night. I fell that her first words should have been, I am sorry mam, I can place u in another room. Instead if was” I only have a room with a King. “ The air conditioner worked, as long as u didn’t put it lower than 68 degrees. If I put it on 70degrees, the air was warm. I didn’t say anything about that, because I was already told that was the only room available. Than the remote would not turn the TV on r off. I had to put it on from the TV itself.
