staff were very helpful, breakfast was fresh everyday/ woman who runs kitchen was always good for local recommendations and she was always hosptiable pool was great as an alternative to the very cold ocean.... the walk down to the ocean and pier was simple The Inn was only 6 small blocks up from the ocean. lots of little fun shops on the way to and from. watched the town fireworks from the front lawn. Playland amusement park down at pier was very good as well.

wi fi reception sometimes however was unpredictable- although my dtr who lives in portland me says reception in maine is always spotty.

The Old Orchard Beach Inn is located at the head of the street leading to the beach; it's literally a five minute walk to the ocean. There is also a swimming pool at their adjoining property if you don't want the ocean experience; they also provide breakfast.

The inn needs a key drop off. We were ready to leave around 8:00 a.m., but it took a few minutes to find someone to take our key. A drop box would be helpful to the visitors and the staff. If there was one we honestly didn't see it.

The breakfast was good and the staff there was helpful and friendly. My companion would have liked bacon instead of sausage every day. Also I’m glad we had good weather because I would not have liked to have had to walk two houses away for my breakfast in bad weather.

The stairs! Didn’t realize they would be so steep especially for older people. The door to our room sticking so much that we had to slam it to open and close it. Not enough electrical outlets in the room. Both sides of the bed had a lamp but you could only use one.

The Inn was very quaint. The breakfast was very good and the quiet was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The only chairs in the room were small old wooden chairs more for decor and ambience. It would have been nice to watch a little tv in a chair and not from the bed which was a good distance from it. If larger people need this Inn then they may consider other places. Small shower stall was ok for us but would be tough for larger folks. Although the bed was comfy for me, it was too soft for my husband who mostly slept on the floor. On Sunday we tried to get an extra blanket for more floor cushioning on the floor and there was no one to be found at the time.

Amazing staff and atmosphere! They were very helpful and warm! We loved staying in a quaint place with lots of history. It is such a great location too!!!! We would definitely stay again!

The B&B is wonderful! My only complaint is the outdated bathroom/carpet/ window situation (lack of drapes (there are blinds but the sun happily woke us each morning… it was truly a good way to wake up but if we weren’t morning people we may be sad) and hearing everything on the street). We would definitely stay here again regardless!

Quaint, well maintained inn. Very comfortable. Easy to get to (at least in the office season!), Right near the center of town.

Small issue with the float valve in the toilet sticking. ☹️.

Great location. Close walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and the pier. Nice, comfortable room with bottles of water. Breakfast was delicious and there is seating inside and outside on the porch. The inn includes 3 separate buildings so at first I was a little confused but once I found my room I was all set! No musty smell in my room and the WiFi was fine. Bed was very comfortable. Nice, clean outside pool and free parking.

It would be nice to have a coffee machine in the room as well as cups.

The room was clean. The breakfast was good, and the cook was friendly, and it helped save some money. The location was good out of the middle of town. the coffee and beach towels were available.

The bed was old and uncomfortable. The pool was three houses away. The room was small. The town has changed, we have been to OOB for many years and the small-town feel is gone. So expensive now it just feels like a tourist trap. People in town were just rude.

Location was great. We were able to walk to the pier, restaurants, and beach easily. Quaint & cute B&B.

These things were not a deal breaker, but the pool and breakfast were not located on the property. They are 2 houses away from this B&B. The walk is easy, and not bad, but it would have been nice to know this ahead of time.

We really enjoyed it. The Inn is a historic place. The furniture in the rooms is old style and makes you feel like a travel back in time. I and my family loved the place. Now, depending on everyone, if they like old style or not. The staff was very friendly and kind.

I do not have anything to complain about. Maybe just because they do check out at 10 o'clock, and usually it is 11 o'clock.
