I loved the enforced quiet hours/rules in place to make sure that there weren't a bunch of room parties. It was also lovely to have a fridge where we could have food and not have to worry! Not to mention breakfast being provided as it made the mornings and the rest of our days working at the convention that much easier since it is usually difficult to get out to get food.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was how slow the internet was. It certainly wasn't your fault at all and had to do with how many people were there, but if there was any way to make it faster, that would be lovely!

The housekeeping staff is superb!establishment! The front desk is superb. The breakfast was great and they offered a turkey option every morning as well as egg white selection.

The gentleman at the front desk made an error in processing my stay. However, that turned into a real plus because the front desk handled it and corrected it. How you handle situations is the true test of an establisment!

I haven't travelled since the pandemic began so this was my first vacation and I enjoyed it greatly, the hotel was amazing and the staff was friendly and professional but warm when speaking with me and I definitely intend to return, Maria was my housekeeper and she was outstanding the way she took care of me and my family, I thanked her for her patience with us because we had quite a few kids in our group, thanks for a wonderful stay.

I had to leave, I wish I could've stayed longer, ha ha.

The location is perfect. National Harbor is small, but this was in the middle of everything without all of the noise late at night. We liked the room size. We didn't get breakfast, but we like that it was an option!

The main complaint is that the housekeepers in the morning were very loud, yelling throughout the hallway and knocking on our door prior to check-out time. While I understand that they need to knock on the doors to see if someone has checked out, I still think it's inconsiderate when we're on vacation.

it is pet friendly. I like that we got studio type & was comfortable. The housekeeper Molina was nice & respectful. Across the street is Gaylord where I was booked by our corporate for the regional meeting (American Renal Associates). Overall, I had an amazing experience on both work & leisure.

There’s nothing me & family didn’t like. It’s clean, staff are nice.

We were cherry blossom and MT. Vernon sight seeing. There are many restaurants to enjoy in the area plus we used the water taxi up the Potomac to D.C. several days (takes about an hour). MT. Vernon was about a 25 minute trip and very interesting.

Succotash, a local restaurant, has a very strange menu... it took both of us a while to order something. My wife decided on a Caesars Salad but they don't have chicken breast anywhere on their menu, only thigh and drumstick meat. WHAT???

Everything was excellent. Staff was friendly and very professional. Yusenia, she has blue hair (forgive me for spelling your name wrong) checked me in and she was wonderful. I can tell that she loves her job. The other staff at the hotel was also very friendly. COVID-19 precautions was also taken very seriously at the Residence Inn. It was my birthday weekend, so she made sure that I had the best room, which is corner room with the river view. I booked the one bedroom suite and let me tell you, it was beautiful and clean, clean, and clean. It was like a one bedroom apartment, nice kitchen with stove top, oven, microwave, dishwasher, big refrigerator, lots of really nice pots and pans, nice cups, plates, etc. Like home away from home. When I got into the room, I did the usual and that is I checked the sofa, bed, linens, etc. and found nothing dirty. Yeah, I even cooked dinner for myself, brother and husband. We ate fish sticks, macaroni and cheese and delicious broccoli with a butter sauce. The hotel is right next to a restaurant, across from the Gaylord, and steps away from the harbor. What's unique about this hotel is that it is really quiet and peaceful. We don't like staying at hotels that's too busy. You can't go wrong when you stay at the Residence Inn, period. But the Residence Inn at National Harbor is the "bomb" great location, clean and great continental breakfast. We ate our bellies full. Afterwards, we went out to enjoy the day/harbor. We went on the big wheel and had a blast. At nighttime we checked out the light show at the Gaylord and looked at the sunset. I had a lovely, birthday weekend at the Residence Inn. To all the staff, keep up the good work!

No negatives. Everything was lovely!

We did not have breakfast. The location of the hotel was great.

We didn’t like that when the air conditioner came on it made a loud noise until the room cooled off. We experienced this noise the whole night of our stay. The pillows were too flat and the bed was just average.

The hotels are in close proximity to restaurants the harbor and anywhere else you want to spend time.

The mattress on the bed was trash. It really should have been changed out for a new one. When you have back issues that's the last thing you want is to sleep on a raggedy mattress.

Comfortable Bed, Clean Suite

I paid extra for a view of the potomac and the view was so small you could barely see it. I would have been better off not paying for the river view room. There were several obstructions to our view on the 3rd floor. Had I been on higher floor I may have had a much better view. Booked this room by accident and tried for 2 months to cancel it in Bookings.com. I got the run around from the hotel and from bookings. Instead of loosing $351.00 on a room, I was forced to keep it. Will never book on bookings again, I will go through the hotel.
