Holiday Inn Express - White Marsh, an IHG Hotel0

The breakfast was fine. I like the omelets and sausages. It had all the basic foods. The scrambled eggs could have been a little fresher. Love the tea and juice choices. The hotel was new and modern and very clean. Lobby was roomy so our group could spend some time together. The elevator was quick and accessible.

The hair dryer didn't work which was a bummer. It would be safer to have a bath mat in the shower so we don't slip in there. Had to be careful. Also, wish there was more carpeting in and near the bathroom for added warmth. It was difficult to navigate the thermostat. It wouldn't go over 71 degrees so felt kind of chilly in the room, given it was a cold, rainy, January weekend.

in room thermostat requires motion detection in order to run. So AC unit shuts down when you aren’t there. This has you coming “home” to a warm room whenever you’re gone awhile. This was obnoxious as we were not just sleeping there, but were also using the hotel as a quick place to shower and clean up in between multiple events. There really should be an override feature for this when rooms are being rented.

This is nitpicking. Better lighting in the entrance is required. A sign on the road would also be helpful

We loved that it was Sooooo quiet. We stayed on the 1st floor and never heard anyone in the halls or outside. We could take a nap in the middle of the day or go to bed early depending on OUR schedule. Everything was new, no stains on carpets or bedding. There was a small frig, microwave and coffee in the room. Free breakfast was hot and good tasting. There was a big convenience store/gas station almost right next door and a variety of places to eat and shopping very nearby as well.

1. Housekeeping did not come to service our room on our first day. The second morning I asked front desk to have room serviced, towels, and tile floor wiped where my husband spilled coffee coming in the door. When I wiped it up initially, I noticed that the floor needed to be wet mopped anyway. If these tile floors are not kept very clean, the carpets will begin to show the dirt and stains. 2. There was not an abundance of parking but we did always found a space. 3. Room needed more lights. Desk side of room was dark and we could't get desk light to work at all.

The hotel is very clean decorated in a minimalist / modern style that works well for a hotel. It also has a very nice breakfast, a pool, and a nice fitness room. My hotel room was really nicely decorated in a minimalist style. The bathroom was well lit and the shower had great water pressure, a shower-massage head, and lots of hot water. The bed and pillows are super comfy. I'd definitely stay here again.

Beautiful new hotel. Nice, clean, spacious breakfast area. Good coffee, adequate free breakfast. Nothing fancy, but tasty and enough to start the day Great sheets and bedding. Nice spacious bathroom. Front desk and breakfast staff were efficient, professional and friendly.

There were a couple of housekeeping issues in our room that we didn't realize until late in the day. Management responded personally, and beyond my expectations. Location was great for our purposes. However, it is a bit tricky to find the hotel. A couple of loop de loops off of the highway without any signage was a challenge.

The place was very clean, easy to Starbucks in the morning, and convenient to the highway - a good place for a quick overnight while on the road. When our original room smelled like cigarette smoke (odd for a non-smoking facility), the staff changed our room with no questions asked. Much appreciated.

Slight smell in the room but not enough to complain. I would have really appreciated some cold water for my water bottle available with the 24-hour coffee but that's not a complaint - just a suggestion.

on brand for a holiday inn express, everything was clean and modern looking, a bit on the simple side but I definitely prefer that to taking a chance. Breakfast was great.

definitely not the hotel’s fault, but someone burnt toast at breakfast and it got really smokey and set off the fire alarm and then the smoke lingered a bit after in the breakfast area.

The cleanliness and new condition of the furniture. The entire hotel had a great overall feel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough about this hotel except I’ll be back and I will definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay.

Room was clean and large, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean - although the hairdryer didn't work. The lobby was open and spacious, pool a fitness room weŕe very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a good variety, and the area was very clean. All of the staff was friendly and helpful.
