Club Quarters Hotel Faneuil Hall, Boston

Extremely convenient. Very nice staff. Restaurant next door. sandwich shop across the street. Minutes from Faneuil Hall. Boston is a walking city… so close along Freedom Trail. walk up to Beacon Hill.

Room was large and perfect with microwave, sink. And clean! It just needs a little makeover and love as the rug is old and needs a bit of painting. However, I will definitely be back. I’m sure that’s in the works!

Super clean, only one block from where I needed to be for work, LOVED the efficient layout of the room, the yoga mat in the closet and associated easy to access videos on TV, and the drinking water set up. Nice restaurant, good food, friendly staff, reasonably priced (Elephant and Castle) next door.

The mattress could have been a little newer and firmer. Check-out process wasn't exactly as I was told. I texted the night before to ask what the logistics were and the response was that I only needed to drop the keys at the front desk and tell them what my room number was. But instead I got held up while my rideshare was waiting out front when the clerk decided he had to walk me through all the steps at the self-serve kiosk. It was a little nerve-wracking since I was in a hurry to get to my car and suddenly the procedure was different than I was told the night before.

I liked the location, The room was large enough and well equiped. The bathroom was well equiped. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was working well

The staff was not very welcoming, sometimes talking through a mask and therefore not understandable. Upon my arrival the hotel refused both my credit cards; they finally allowed me to get a room (I was exhausted) after checking that they could charge me a couple hundreds. No explanations. During my departure,I had to wait a long time for my luggage which was stored; after 25 minutes (waiting for the groom) the not-so-friendly front desk guy brought me to the 2nd floor to fetch it myself.

Very kind staff, big enough room, great location.

The toilet was not clean enough and also jammed after a few hours.

I have always been a fan of Club Quarters in Boston, great location although very busy, nice restaurant on Site, the rooms decent size for Boston always very clean and accommodating. The maintenance and cleaning crew always very nice and attentive! The rooms always very clean and comfortable! The staff (front end are very nice especially Tristine!! she deserves an award for the best staff there every stay she is always professional, helpful and caring of all your needs being met while staying at the hotel! she would be a great help in training other new and staff in general especially Vinny from the front end his professionalism needs an adjustment!) otherwise great stay as always and I will continue to come back and recommend to others! Thank you guys Happy New year!

We did need to change rooms due one was nice but not suitable to our needs and Tristine was great in accommodating and helping us with accommodations! The tv in the room has some glitches and consistently kept knocking off our internet /Netflix connections very frustrating. Some of the lights in our room did not work or have bulbs otherwise the room met all over needs! and no other major dislikes about the property.

The hotel had a small pub attached and the food and atmosphere was great. The facility itself was on the smaller side compared to some but this was great for a quick trip. The beds were super comfy and the staff very friendly. It was helpful that the location felt safe and shopping at Faneuil Hall is within walking distance.

The stay was pleasant and I have no complaints. The pub attached is public and many people frequent the area. Travelers should be aware that this is an intercity and be cognizant of who they interact with. I was grateful that the hotel was attached and I could slip away to a quiet safe place at the end of the evening. Over all it was a great stay in Boston.

Staff are amazing and professional in every aspect. The hotel is located within easy and quick access to historical sites, neighborhoods, harbor, restaurants, and subway access. It is near the Commons but not located on a main street which helps with reduced traffic sounds. The common room off lobby entrance offers a great sitting area with tea and an espresso/coffee/latte/cappuccino machine for guests. I forgot my water bottle from home so I greatly appreciated the sealed water bottles that were offered where you could refill with cold filtered water, little waste. There is also a connected restaurant/pub where you can dine or order room service. I only used them for a quick sweet tooth fix of cheesecake! I have found cost staying at CQ Hotels to be very reasonable during my travels. This one is no exception especially considering its easy access to the sites I wanted to visit, including a quick subway ride to Boston Central Public Library at Copley Square and Red Sox game at Fenway. Overall, I recommend this Boston CQ Hotel location.

I found at this CQ location, like Chicago location, walls are thin and sound carries from rooms and hallway (pack earplugs). The loud AC would block noise but also meant you could not hear TV at a low volume. Shower quite small due to odd angled location next to entry.

Water bottles and water was free and came in very handy. They have WMF Coffee Machines in the lounge and we could get free coffee every day. Not to mention it was the best coffee, better than starbucks and other Cafés around. At least for our European taste buds. Location is excellent. Only walking distance from the major areas and downtown

The windows are not completely sound proof, we could hear people and music from the outside. In the night it was okay though. The curtains are not thick enough and it can be not dark enough

I liked that it was right in the middle of the city and you didn’t need a car to get around. The property was clean all around. it was my second time staying at Club Quarters. The staff were very sweet and helpful.

What I didn’t like was the noise and construction that was going on in the building next to us in the middle of the night. I have never stayed anywhere where there has been work going on that late. I’m sure I’m not the only one complaining. It kept us up pretty much the whole night.

Location was great. Totally walkable to Fanuel Hall, stores, food, the ocean, The North End, The Boston Common. The room was good sized but I was under the impression it would be a separate bedroom. My fault though. should have known :studio" meant one space. They provided coffee in the room as well as in a reception area in the lobby. The receptionist at check in was excellent. Helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Boston. Also, self parking down the street at Pie Alley Parking was very convenient and inexpensive.

Was called a "one bedroom studio". There is not a separate bedroom. Don't be fooled by the description as I was. The room was still terrific even though it did not have a separate bedroom.
