you are smack in the middle of the action, but it's relatively quiet. everything the city has to offer in the downtown area can be explored on foot.

at first i thought it's unfortunate that they don't offer breakfast. but there are some nice spots in walking distance for excellent breakfast.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location of hotel perfect. Comfortable bed and linens were very nice. We were upgraded without our asking and had no complaints. We were even given a wonderful bottle of wine. Thanks.

We really can’t think of anything.

Delighted with our stay at the Godfrey. The location was perfect as a short trip from the airport and centrally located to shops, bars and restaurants. It was also in close proximity to Boston Commons and subway stations. The room we selected was extremely spacious and spotless. The complimentary bottles of water were a nice bonus and we used the coffee shop connected to the hotel for some quality refreshments to start each day. Staff were very friendly and happy to help if you needed anything. Would love to stay here again if we return to Boston.

The minibar amenities (water, snacks and coffee were included), the two complimentary cocktails for happy hour, the door staff was amazing!, the workout facility had lots of options and the sparkling flavored water station was the bomb, and the craft coffee connected to the lobby.

If there’s anything to criticize it would be that the view was of an old and rickety part of the building. Also just worth noting that the staff at the coffee place was nowhere near as friendly and attentive, sometimes even aloof and negligent.

The location was perfect - right in the middle of everything. It was easy to walk to most places in the city, and an amazing breakfast cafe was just around the corner. Overall, the room was good for a solo traveler. There were complimentary snacks, water, and shower amenities.

The temperature was set to 73 degrees in the room when I first arrived, which is way too hot for me. The bed was also too soft for my liking. Finally, and this is basically out of their control, but there was a major water and electrical issue on my final day there. They evacuated the floor I was on, and I wasn't able to get back in for hours. They eventually moved me to a different room for the rest of my stay. The new room had work being done on it and it was a little beat up. It was fine for my last night of sleep there, but others would have been less thrilled about that.

My recent stay at The Godfrey Hotel in Boston was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I entered the sleek and modern lobby, I knew I was in for a treat. The rooms exuded contemporary elegance, with stylish decor and plush amenities that made me feel right at home. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the room, from the comfortable bedding to the state-of-the-art technology. The hotel's location in the heart of downtown Boston was ideal, offering easy access to top attractions, dining, and shopping destinations. Whether I was exploring the historic streets of Beacon Hill or indulging in some retail therapy on Newbury Street, everything was just a stone's throw away. The staff at The Godfrey Hotel were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every need. From check-in to check-out, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Overall, The Godfrey Hotel in Boston exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this luxurious oasis in the heart of the city is sure to impress.

The comfiest bed ever, really soft fresh linen, great bathroom and bathroom products. The location was good: close to the Common for the Freedom Trail, and close to theatres and shops. All the front desk staff and concierges were friendly and helpful. As a solo traveller, I felt safe walking around the area.

If I'm being picky, my room was above RUKA and the music was a bit loud, although it did stop around 11pm. Very little natural daylight in my room, but who goes to a hotel to sit in their room all day? As a Brit, I like a cuppa occasionally, so I had to improvise making tea with a coffee machine. None of these are big issues and I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

The staff were excellent in every respect there was. There is no breakfast which is better as there are so many alternatives nearby. Centrally located - near the big shops and underground stops - you can really go anywhere. The room was big, courtesy wine, courtesy snacks and water. Very quiet at night. Loved it.

Perhaps there should have been a hotel breakfast considering that all other services were delivered at top par. I cannot think of something that I did not like - honestly and I am demanding (perhaps cheaper daily rates? - well Boston is expensive)

Only stayed one night in the hotel. location was great - walking distance to South Station (train). The room was spacious, the bathroom big, with everything you need. Everything seemed very clean - I felt well in the room. The free water and snacks in the room was a nice plus. Furthermore, I enjoyed the complimentary drink at the hotel bar. The staff at the door and at the reception was professional and very friendly. Nothing to complain about.

for one night - nothing to complain about

Perfectly placed downtown only a couple of minutes stroll from Boston Common for exploring it and Beacon Hill, and around 10 minutes from both Chinatown and Quincy Market, so easy to get to the North End and Waterfront on foot too. There's a comfortable seating area and bar in the lobby, plus a coffee shop attached to start the morning off right. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable, and from the 10th floor it was that quiet that we could barely tell that we were in a busy area. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to any request. Wouldn't hesitate recommending a stay here, and will be our first choice when we're next visiting the city.
