Courtyard by Marriott Boston Cambridge

We had the most comfortable sleep we've ever had in a hotel. The bed was amazing and the air quality was perfect. I loved that we could open our window.

The pillows were lumpy, but they always seem to be in any hotel chain. Maybe we are just fussy about our pillows. I recommend that there always be two caffienated coffee packets (+ the decaf just in case), There was one regular and one decaf. We have seen this in other hotels. We always have to ask for coffee packets each day. This isn't really a complaint, but a hotel that caffeinates both patrons in a room would really stand out!

It was close to the colleges. They had all parking that was easy to use. The rooms were clean. There was a reasonably stocked gym. The hotel has a restaurant attached to it and a few stores close by. Nice view of the river from the hotel room.

You paid for parking by the day instead of by the night. We checked in at 3pm one day and left the next morning and was charged for two days of parking. It was a bit pricey, but was about average for hotels in that area for that time of year.

The hotel is fine. Not new but we knew that. Well kept. But the staff exceeded our expectations. My wife left her phone on a subway car, we were helped by the lady at the reception desk to such a degree that in two hours we had the phone back. Yes we used Find My Phone and obviously a good citizen turned it in, but she made all the difference. The rest of the staff shared a pride in their hotel. You don’t see that often.

Nothing at all

The hotel was in an excellent location for us. Close to BU, Allston, Cambridge and downtown. Staff were helpful to questions about Boston, and our room had an excellent view of the Charles River and beyond. With an entire wall of windows, it was nice to see the city lights at night too. Everything we needed was available and staff were very courteous. One kind gentleman told us he had worked there over 30 years and liked working there. Bed was very comfortable.

It was great! Manager was SUPER nice! The way the drain works for the tub was strange, but I figured it out by lifting the drain up to have the tub train. Don't know if that's how you were sopose to work the drain, but pushed it back down when done! May do this again next year for the holiday's, depending on various circumstances on weather or not I may move next year or not! Who knows, I may bring a guest with me next time too, if I do this again next year! Big thank you to the manage!

Walking distance to university to visit my son. It was a safe and pleasant walk through the suburb. Grocery shop Trader Joe’s literally accessible via the hotel’s back door. Wholefoods only a few minutes walk. Japanese restaurant (very well priced compared to restaurant prices in Cambridge) in the hotel itself. Beautiful view of the river from my room, and a lot of morning sun. I stayed in a King room. It was very roomy, ample space to sit, large desk and sizeable bathroom (large supply of towels replenished daily). Mini fridge, coffee machine (which I used only to make tea), cups replenished daily. The daily cleaning was always spot on and the cleaning staff always available to replenish supplies if needed.

We were three of us myself and two teenage children with two queen beds - staying for 9 nights. The beds were comfortable. There was no microwave in the room, but it's available on the lobby floor 24/7 and was good enough. The coin laundry was clean and available most of the time. i used the business center (a corner area on the lobby floor) - it is not too big, but was enough to do some remote work with a stable Wifi. Trader Joe's, Starbucks, and Micro Center are in the back of the hotel, and was very convenient.

I wished that there was a table area with chairs aside from the desk so we can eat in the room. There were only two chairs - one desk chair and one arm chair.

We went to Boston for a ballgame at Fenway, very easy 2km walk to park. On site parking which was nice but was extra 45.00US. Good breakfast buffet which we were given a 25$ coupon for. Located right on the river which had a beautiful biking/walking path. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful!

No complaints

The staff was wonderful even when I had to stay an extra few day due to feeling ill. The hotel itself is close to shopping. Practically within walking distance. Also had a decent view from my room.

The staff was amazing although there was some issues with our toilet they were quick to help us move rooms and take care of us

Other than being a little annoyed with having to move rooms, everything else was great. Things happen, so no big deal. The hotel was great and accommodating
