Motel is very clean and comfortable and a great place to relax after a long day out with my bicycle on the rail trail or the many sights in the area. The area has many choices for food close by. Rooms are kept clean and the bed was comfy. Love having a little patio to sit outside and kick back.The staff were friendly too.

Only thing I did not care for is inside my room is they have no soft white lighting, only bright white led recessed lights... Room badly needs at least one small lamp on the desk.Led lighting is way too white and bright for a motel room at night..

Location was great. Convenient to Orleans and Wellfleet. Several restaurants nearby. Practically across the street from the Wellfleet Drive-In. It was far enough off the main road that it felt quiet and secluded... especially since we were in the back. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The property is older, but well maintained and reasonably well updated. Wooded setting. GREAT breakfast restaurant (Laura & Tony's) right next door . Nice pool, playground, picnic areas, private patios... wonderful for families. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

SUGGESTIONS: More picnic tables behind motel units. Some artwork on the walls. Lighting for back patios.

Things went well when Helen was on-duty.

The ABYSMAL INITIAL failure of ANY employee to be present at the front desk when I first arrived, this despite my repeatedly opening and closing the front door (which signaled an electronic sound ostensibly to signal one who is elsewhere on the premises.) This absence was for 11 minutes but could have been much longer had I not gone behind the front desk counter and found a phone number to call, which summoned an employee. A feeble excuse that they are short staffed was given. However, I gave feedback to the sister (or was she the wife,) of the actual Owner that a foolproof SIGN with the phone # listed should be permanently placed at the front desk for any customer to see.

Numbered parking space right at the room. Private patio on the central green space. Room was quiet/private. Comfortable beds. Restaurant was right next door.

Old key door lock that required a bit of jiggling to get to work. Screen door to patio did not close securely and screen was damaged. Towels were threadbare and scratchy. Our room was in the back section which was nice, but the only ice and vending machines were in the front next to the lobby (we drove to get ice).

Great location on RT 6. Room was well maintained and felt clean. I had stayed there a number of years ago and was very happy to see the rooms have been updated and more modern. The hotel appeared pretty full but was very quiet. Helen at the front desk was very friendly. We did not use the pool but it looked quite nice. We did not use the restaurant on the property but it looked popular. A/C worked good in this hot weather.

our only room complaint was the shower-shower head was not the best. Maybe better quality sheets would be nice but not a deal breaker.

The staff was very kind and professional. The rooms were clean with very clean bathrooms The manager was very accommodating and friendly as we had just had a bad experience with our prior reservation at another booking He was eager to help us immediately and helped get us settled. Pool was very clean and the property was beautiful.

Excellent stay. Comfortable room was fairly recently remodeled. Very attentive front desk staff person was very friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to be helpful. The motel was almost empty during our stay due to the time of year. The weather was cool, cloudy and rainy during much of our stay, but the heating system was good. Location in Eastham was excellent.

Interior of room was attractive. Management needs to replace all of the old, weathered chairs outside of each room. These chairs really bring down the curb appeal of this property!

Excellent location, super attentive and welcoming staff, steps to Cape Cod 'bike and walking trail' and Lighthouse and Marconi Beaches. The rooms are neat and well maintained. Wellesley Drive IN and cinema are across the way. Excellent value for the money---this is true for the owners other hotel just down the road, called, Captain's Quarters.

Location is great. Would love to have a little breakfast bar instead if having to go to Laura and Tony's every day and spend so much money. I love that there is a courtyard access to the room.

The bed was very hard. My back hurt the whole week from being so stiff. Also poor drainage when it rains. Had water coming in through the slider on a heavy rain.

Pretty much everything. The room was excellent and the staff was also. The woman in the office (Sheila?) could not have been more friendly or mor helpful than she was. She answered all my questions about the local area, especially about where to eat. As a result I ate at some great restaurants.

There was nothing I didn't like.
