The location was great. The BEST part is the shuttle they provide to the Dennis beaches - such an awesome perk! I think it was $15 and we hopped in the van, just us, with our chairs, cooler and bags, and I think just needed 10min notice. It was AWESOME. Also, the property was very well maintained. We didn't use the pool but played cards in the "hang-out" area that had lots of adirondack chairs and picnic tables.

We stayed in a queen room and it was small but we booked last minute and didn't really care. The owner said it was the smallest room type that all other rooms were bigger. Window unit A/C which was a little noisy but we really weren't in room other than sleeping so didn't matter much.

I stayed at Starlight lodge for 2 nights and then needed to extend for 1 more night, which was super easy to do. The service is great and friendly, the rooms and linen are very clean, there is a shared full kitchen available with a coffee machine, and complimentary coffee and tea. The room has a little fridge and an oven as well. I stayed with my dog and called the Lodge before my stay to confirm I will get a dog-friendly room, which was no problem at all. The Lodge has a large outdoor space with a swimming pool and a fire pit and a grill, which I didn't use because I stayed in winter. However it must be really nice in summer.

Nice and spacious clean room. The availability of a kitchen and barbecues and swimming pool. Lovely feel to the place, very relaxing, coffee available from 7 each morning.

The room was spotless however the shared facilities, kitchen and barbecues were left filthy by other guests. The usual managers were away the week we were there. We met her on our first night and she was lovely offering advice on where to go etc. Our stay was affected by the lack of hygiene shown by one particular guest who showed no regard for other guests who needed to use the kitchen as he left all his dirty dishes in the sink even though a dishwasher was provided.

It is an absolutely charming family hotel with wonderful pool and very hospitable owners, with wonderful territory and lots of flowers and decor to make it homey. Free coffee/tea/hot cocoa and souvenirs at the reception. The rooms are clean, with small fridge. We will be happy to come back

The beds and pillows are hard, the bathrooms with shower are tiny. It may be useful to recommend visitors to park their cars in front of their rooms.

The coffee was great! The accommodations were exquisite. The property had a fire pit, hammocks, swing and corn hole. The property was very well maintained and the staff were as friendly as mom and pop.

Our room, as I understand most rooms are smaller, hence the value. It was almost impossible to sit on the commode. The first morning while in the office getting our coffee, my wife and the manager got into a conversation. My wife was explaining the difficulty she had in the bathroom. The manager said "I am going to make your day!" She gave me two keys to another room that was like a palace. Needless to say we were extremely grateful.

Very cute family run business! Free real coffee in the lobby. Heated pool wow! Wish I had known to bring a bathing suit. Super friendly staff. Decorated nicely, both the property and in the rooms and updated. You can tell it is an older/vintage motel because of the teeny tiny bathrooms but we think that's cool.

Not the most comfy or supportive mattress for 2 people, kind of saggy and springy, we tossed and turned, and bathroom is really tiny no vanity just the world's smallest sink (cute), but compared to other motels I've stayed at I literally can't complain. I've had plenty of nights elsewhere with a literal metal spring sticking in my back or a loud broken A/C or mildew or cigarette smell or creepy staff or guests. NONE of that here. This place was kept up well -- just not top of the line mattresses, oh well what can ya do.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Starlight Lodge! A lot of thought has gone into making the property comfortable and fun for all. We loved having The Beach Buggy bring us to Mayflower Beach - saved us time and money. The pool was lovely - beautiful furniture and just the right temperature.

We’re aware that the owners continue to make improvements each year. Future suggestions - fixing the floor/door in the bathroom as if got stuck at times and upgrading to central, if possible. Although we loved our stay, the price we were charged for an August weekend was a bit hard to swallow for an upgraded motel, even a lovely one.

The location was great. It’s in the quieter, less touristy area, but still close to restaurants and beaches. (ice cream and casual seafood restaurant is next door)The motel is clean, quiet, cute, updated, and has lots of charm. Rooms are small, but comfortable. The pool is heated and clean. The grounds are beautifully kept, with plenty of spots to sit and relax. They have corn hole, a giant chess set, Weber grills to cook on, and shaded picnics areas. There is also a well stocked fire pit, that was lit nightly, where guests gathered and made s’mores. As an added bonus, the motel is very dog friendly, and the owner’s 4 adorable dogs ( 3 Boston Terriers, 1 French Bulldog) are the motel’s official greeters and hospitality patrol.

The bathroom in our room (#115)was poorly designed. The toilet faced the side of the bathtub, and was positioned too closet to the tub, with absolutely no room for legs or feet, making it impossible to sit on it normally. Legs either had to be placed awkwardly in the bathtub, or you needed to sit side saddle. It was more of an issue for my 6’3’ husband than it was for me. I know this poor positioning wasn’t the case in all rooms, as our family in another room didn’t have this problem. It didn’t cause a huge issue because guys can pee anywhere, and there is a communal kitchen area that had a bathroom he could use when needed. 🙃

wow! where to start ?! the property is amazing! Amazing, relaxing lodge in the middle of busy cape cod season. We loved everything about the property. Beautiful clean heated pool, beautiful super clean rooms, the beach buggy will take you to the beach for $15 per room (they get there quick so no much waiting around) , They have a community kitchen where you can use the kitchen and make some coffee (Deff great to bring your own food), The rooms have a small fridge, there’s an ice machine in the property too, They have a fire pit ready outside, close to everything including great restaurants. The property was very quiet and extremely great. Dogs are welcome in the property so you will see some cute dogs around, No complaints at all. Karen and Ron are one of the nicest couples we have met!

We liked everything!

The lodge is very welcoming and cozy, the staff are there just enough to make sure you have everything you need. Great location in the middle of the Cape go in any direction to discover all of the Cape.

Loved everything about the Lodge, but we were there off season so not everything open yet. That did not stop us from coming home with a car full of goodies.
