Stayed for 3 nights with my 12yr old daughter, labor day weekend. It was exactly what we needed. Cute, clean, quiet and quaint. I loved the sitting areas out back with the hammocks under the lights at night. The indoor pool was great and we had all to ourselves. It was clean, updated, sitting area outside of each room, dog friendly (we didn't have a dog but weren't bothered in any way during our stay) I did wish for a microwave late at night but there was one available in the office from 8am-8pm. The location was perfect for us, right on rt 6. Only a couple mins from the Wellfleet pier, minutes from popular beaches and tons of restaurants in both directions. It was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. I can't say enough about the staff! They were super friendly and helpful! Took the time to recommend some great places and gave us some awesome tips. Ernie was fantastic and gave us some local favorite spots. A young girl (who's name I regret I didn't get) she noticed my crystal jewelry and recommended a local shop to check out. I thought that was so sweet. The beds and pillows were some of the comfiest I've stayed on and I'm picky about that and bedding. Slept like a baby! I would definitely stay again 😊

I only stayed one night - it was the best sleep ever! The bed is so comfortable I looked up the brand they had and am going to replace my mattress. The room was super clean and all new. The shower a little "iffy" but that's like almost every hotel I've stayed at. My only one little drawback - no table to set my coffee or computer or eat on. Next time I stay I will specify that - I think they have rooms like that. I live on the Cape but occasionally want to stay in Wellfleet - I definitely will be back.

Explained above - very small things.

Super friendly staff, dog-friendly, convenient location to all wellfleet and cape amenities.

The dog area could use some touching up, as it was a bit neglected compared to the rest of the grounds, especially being one of the first dog-friendly stays upon searching. Also, neither endless coast or booking.com let you know of the pet fee ($45/night) until after you’ve booked via email- this wasn’t an issue for us- however, the posting states cancellation or modification to your booking results in a charge totaling the cost of your stay.

Beautiful location. Nice remodeling job.

I used to stay at the Mainstay Motor Inn. That was the name of the property. It was old and from another decade, but the price tag and pet friendly aspect was a lure to a destination that has become expensive. After the renovation and rebranding, it costs almost triple what it used to cost to stay there a night if you include the extra pet fee that isn’t something you know about and is not on the booking.com website. That makes a weekend with the family to the beach practically unaffordable…

Remodeled and clean. Very comfortable bed. Nice outdoor area.

Noisy - stayed in the first floor and could hear a lot from the room above us, specially the shower. They don’t have daily room service but you can text them to request it whenever you wish to have the room cleaned. However, I texted them on our third day but didn’t get response nor the bedroom was cleaned.

Room was super clean and bed and pillows were great. Simple and minimal but every you need and a bit more--a small fridge, roomy and well designed garment rack and shelves--all in wood and white and very pleasant.

No complaints. Dog hygiene area clearly mapped and marked and bags provided. Enjoyed coffee pup in lap on the chairs outside the front door of our room.

Unpretentious, clean, comfortable, excellent staff, private feel yet central to everything location, beautiful pool, pet friendly, loved our stay!

Too much sand in the back grounds, gets tracked into the rooms especially if you have a pet with you. Gritty on bare feet! I would replace with grass. Add a snack machine next to the ice machine. Let the pool stay open til 10 or 11. Even if lobby staff are gone at 8, you could still hire a pool attendant for a couple hours.

Although the room was small, it was cheerful, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The location on route 6 is good and convenient. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The bathtub surface is especially slick and slippery(as if it had been painted or something?) There was no bath mat or non-slip strips or grab bar. (Someone is bound to fall sooner or later. That is a lawsuit just waiting to happen!) Also, no drapes or curtains over windows so it gets much too sunny in room in the early morning. If the owner were to take care of these two issues, this place would get a higher rating.

The rooms were small, but we expected that since the hotel is in a remodeled motel. However, the owners did a good job of fitting a lot into a small space, while maintaining a clean/modern, minimalist style. There is a large shelving unit with space for hanging and storing clothing and other belongings, as well as a mini fridge and coffee counter. The bathroom and sink areas were perfectly new and clean. The beds were clean and so comfortable! The recreation area in back was fantastic. There are grills, comfortable patio furniture, lounge chairs and games. Unfortunately, on the evening we decided to use the grill, the fire pit was not working. It was a particularly cold night, so we had to bring our food inside to eat. Staff was great! They were friendly and accommodating, and left us alone unless we asked for something. We would definitely stay here again!

Our only compliant is that there was extremely loud noise coming from right outside the room, starting at about 6:30 every morning.

The location was great, staff was very friendly and attentive, and though small, the beds were very comfortable. The room had a nice layout, with a large sink area, which gave some privacy. There is a lot of land in the back, with grills, and seating. There is a trail which if you’re adventurous, leads to an Alpaca farm, and the beautiful Duck Pond, if you walk for about 20 minutes. I did use the indoor pool, and though I prefer the nearby kettle ponds, it’s perfect for a cloudy day, or last minute swim on checkout day. The value was decent for this area.

The lighting was way too bright in the sleeping area. The reading lights were way too high, and the stand-up lamp would have been better with a 3-way bulb.
