I did not get any breakfast - didn't know they had it. The staff was polite but not overly accommodating. My room had decent amenities and there was a lot of space. I was bummed because it was very blustery when I was there, so I was not able to enjoy a typical beach resort experience.

It felt like there were SO many rules. I accidentally overslept and was disappointed they only let me extend my checkout by 30 minutes and someone was still knocking at my door before that time was up - I felt a bit unappreciated as a guest. It wasn't even full season yet. It was a Monday and I know the place was not fully booked - there were so many empty parking spots! I traveled solo and only stayed one night, but I feel the place would be better enjoyed with friends or family, and for a longer stay to really enjoy the experience.

Location is perfect with a private beach and many amenities (pool, hot tub, activities room). The kitchenette was very convenient and the rooms are cozy. I particularly appreciated the farmhouse doors that not only saved room within the space, but also served as a light blocking source from the early morning sun.

The resort calls early in the morning (and wakes you up) to try to get you to attend a timeshare presentation. Unfortunately, the area outside our particular room was where the laundry totes go, so it was very loud between laundry being tossed in them making frequent thumping sounds but also because the staff were shouting to each other while working. The dial on the alarm clock in my room was missing so I had no way to turn off the alarm which went off every 10 minutes starting from 6am until I finally unplugged it from the wall. Checkout time of 10am was far too early given all those interruptions to sleep, and no late check out, even for a fee, is available

Right on the beach! We enjoyed daily morning walks on the beach. There's a nice seafood place in a walking distance. Room was comfortable size for three of us. There's an activity room for kids and adults. The swimming pool offers the beach views. Pool water was very comfortable temperature. There's a hot tub too!

I understand this is privately owned place but they go a bit overboard. Towels must picked up in a separate room (not at the pool). $5 charge for the lost room key, etc.

For a place directly on the beach in Prime time the price was reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised when we enter our “queen room” and found a suite exactly as pictured. Spotlessly clean, with a great view of the ocean. Bathroom was not huge but more than adequate with good size walk in shower. The front desk and housekeeping staff were wonderful.

I can’t say it’s a complaint but the only thing I could have wanted was a slightly larger deck space. It would be nice to have something to accommodate 2 people but there is plenty of room in the common areas by the beach. Plenty of lounges and table and chairs on a deck surrounded by clear panels that block the wind.

I didn't like that a elderly couple went to get a Hot Dog and was denied because the Hot Dog social was over. I looked at the clock and it was exactly the time it was over . ( forget the time of the hot dog social) The lady said I already cleaned up. So she was all cleaned up and stuff put away before the time ended?) She wasn't even busy. it was a early in season and not busy. She couldnt go in and make the couple a hot dog. Then she turned to me and said everyone waits to last minute. It wasnt last minute she cleaned up early. -

We love it here so much and this family suite was beyond my expectations. The gorgeous window that was the length of the room overlooking the ocean was magical.

The only thing that was an issue was the bed and pull out were very very hard I think they need an update because I’ve stayed before a few times and the other rooms the ends weren’t so hard. Other than that we absolutely loved it.

Location can't be beat. This property is right on the beach in a very convenient location. There is a large veranda for all to use overlooking the beach. The staff was kind and efficient.

The property is a bit older and the walls are thin, so we could hear neighbors. The one-bedroom unit we stayed in met our needs but is smaller than it looks in the pictures.

I was pleasantly surprised that the room had an ocean view (although over the parking lot). Rooms were thoughtfully furnished, clean and nicely decorated. The electric fireplace was a great touch! Great location. Excellent beach access. Nice communal deck with glass walls to shield you from the winds. Overall, it was a great place.

The bed was too firm and very squeaky. We kept each other awake at night tossing to get comfortable, and with each move, the bed squeaked. We're older and both have back issues. This was a huge negative for us. Enough that we probably would not be able to stay here again. If you're younger and/or like a firm bed, then this wouldn't be an issue for you.

The Ocean Club was the PERFECT getaway location! They have limited and strict parking rules. One car limit in the small lot. My daughter joined me the second day with the grandbaby and all the baby beach stuff (stroller, wagon, big umbrella etc) The South Yarmouth beach parking lot is literally the next parking lot over! Paid $20 and got a beach pass for the other local beaches! I parked my car in the next door lot for the day, she parked in the Ocean Club lot - Problem Solved! The room was super quaint! CLEAN!! :) The set up is a bit different than other places, this was better! The gazebo and deck area with umbrellas was great for relaxing. The outside-the-first-floor rooms slider to sitting area was a great gentle breezy area to unwind in! LOVED having such easy access to the beautiful beach!!!! And the wrist bands for the towels by the beach/pool area made it so convenient to not have to have trekked sandy wet towels back to the room. The not having on-site dining was ok by us! We got out to explore the local restaurants! The in-room mini kitchen made it great to bring food back and enjoy in the eating area of the rooms. This place suited our needs and we really really enjoyed our stay.

The covered pool area could have used just a bit more ventilation, it was a beautiful hot day, the lack of cross breeze in the pool area made it not soooooo refreshing to use the pool. It is probably a bonus on a not so hot day to retain the heat. just my two cents.

Ocean Club is top notch. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean, and the rooms are mini apartments with an ocean view. The hotel is on Smugglers Beach and the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Across the street is a little water marsh with lots of birds to watch. The hotel is 2 minutes away from Route 28.

I wish we could have stayed longer :)
