The room was nice and large. There were good amenities inside the room. The grounds looked maintained and the hotel was clean. Happy they had the restaurant and bar it was delicious. The welcome box with treats was a nice surprise. The hotel has the potential to be very nice. Not sure the overnight cost was worth the stay.

No breakfast just a kuerig coffee maker. No one explained where anything was when we arrived and no mention of any events etc in the restaurant. The TV kept coming on during the middle of the night and we had to pull the plug. The spa area was confusing and the workers did not know what was going on. The bed was very hard

The room was beautiful, so romantic and spacious, comfortable king bed, warm fire place, outstanding bath tub, just perfect. We loved our couples getaway very much. Also not a far drive from Boston or the mountains. When we called and asked for robes and silverware someone came and immediately brought it to us. Everything was so clean and organized. Very relaxing.

Everything seemed closed and there was no one there not even staff, just one person at the front desk who was often not even there. The restaurants and facilities were all closed. We didn’t see any guests or staff other than that one guy our entire time. It was a very bizarre like we were in an alternate reality. Soo quiet. But we only wanted a one night stay and to enjoy the room so it didn’t bother us, but if I wanted to stay longer or enjoy food and spa I’d be upset.

We needed a rest from city life, but didn't have capacity to drive far. Chateau Merrimack was less than an hour away from Boston. We booked it on Friday afternoon, and were in our room within a couple of hours. The resort met our needs perfectly. The room was very clean, spacious, and decorated nicely. The fireplace in the bar was warm. We spent most of our weekend there at the pool and hut tub area with our kids. The pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures. The pool house has a lot of nice seating for parents and families to hang. We didn't go to the restaurant, but it looked beautiful. I hope to go back sometime with just my wife to get the chance to enjoy the restaurant and the fireplace area by the bar. The level of detail of the decor was exquisite. The menu looked great. Staff were very welcoming, courteous and present at their posts. Cazadores Mexican Restaurant a few minutes away in Tyngsboro had delicious food. The family platter/plates are delicious and huge.

Chateau Merrimack was the perfect retreat for our 19th wedding anniversary. This was a very pleasant surprise. We are already planning to return in December or sooner for my husband's birthday and certainly for the spa. The decor variety was one of my favorites. Hoping we can renew our vows, for our 20th anniversary, here next year. We also dined at Pino and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our server, Jesse, was top notch.

Wish we stayed longer to explore the grounds more.

Fancy/affordable/comfortable

The bartender was very rude when it was not that busy, boyfriend asked nicely if he had Grand Mariner or Ginger Brandy was rude and put his arms up saying wow you don’t know what you want? My boyfriend had to go the liquor store as he was very upset, strange as we just were there for NYE and ate at the bar/drinks etc. Bartender should have recognized my boyfriend, anyways it discourages us from eating/drinking there so we ordered take out.

Loved the beautiful room and the grounds were breathtaking with the changing foliage! Staff was extremely pleasant & the whole place was welcoming. Some special touches - like a welcome box of snacks with our key at checkin.

The breakfast and dinner options were limited for a few members of our family. Also hallway noise was a little loud.

Resort like property - great value - seems they book out for weddings and events - there were not events going on, and the room rates were a great deal, and hardly anyone was there - large spacious rooms, premium bedding - nice indoor pool and jacuzzi included - large grounds peaceful

Amazing changes!!! Loved the new menu! Filet was wonderful, I think the lady was named Michelle that helped us a few times, the breakfast is excellent, very impressive, will be back!

Room 10 has a scary refrigerator that kept me up all night, was the only issue, and the air seems to not stay on much.

I really liked the hotel, I came for one night and stayed two nights. The hotel is located in a quiet place in the forest, the room is large and spacious. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious. The hotel staff is friendly. We had dinner, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The chef introduced himself during the meal and was interested in whether we liked the food.

we were told the pool would be open till 9pm and it was closed when we checked in. it also took over an hour for our breakfast in bed. we unfortunately had to call multiple times.
