Residence Inn Boston Andover

The staff is great, the location is good for everywhere I want to go. they are very pet friendly. I feel safe when I am there. Mostly, the most handicapped friendly hotel I've been in. multiple access ramps and low door sills for good access.

their tv station selection is horrible. the place is starting to show it's age. the breakfast is no better than hotels that I have paid less than half the room rate to stay in. As far as the handicapped access, room doors are difficult to open one handed. and in the bathroom, easy access to roll in showers is great but once u get in there the handheld shower head is set at the highest point, over 6 feet high. Impossible for a wheelchair bound, or short person to reach without calling for help. Additionally, the shampoo, and soap supplies are also glued to the wall at a 6 foot height. I could not reach them.

when we arrived, very late, we were welcomes warmly and kindly by a wonderful receptionist. we witnessed gestures of kindness towards other guests and were helped with affectionate solicitude. the room had everything, a small kitchen, a microwave, even a dishwasher, towels were quality towels, impeccably clean and fluffy and we were offered breakfast even though we arrived late …. a wonderful place to stay when cold and rainy, cannot imagine when it is warm and sunny and it is possible to enjoy the pool!!! thank you!!!!

the shower regulator is tricky and needs to be handled carefully

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable for a long stay. I enjoyed walking by the river nearby.

The carpet and furnishings in the room were worn, and the HVAC system was loud.

The breakfast was good enough for my healthy-oriented diet. If I was a heavy or hefty eater, it may have been lacking. I do not eat red or processed meat so I didn't care about sausages or eggs, etc. Overall, everything was good enough for me to feel satisfied in the morning.

The amenities in the room could have been better. I feel there should have been complementary bottled waters. The body wash soap in the shower was empty so that was a minus. The complementary toiletries could have been better.

I've stayed here before. Staff is always helpful and accommodating to special requests. Plenty of places to walk your dogs and several poop bag and disposal stations.

Breakfast is exactly the same every day and really blah. I dont like sausage, so I would like to see bacon once in a while. Also, your orange juice is like water with weak orange flavoring. Not really much to complain about, but you asked.

We had to stay while our home’s interior was being painted, and we have two dogs. The property has lots of easy access to grass outside to do their business, and doggie stations with bags provided was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, too. Plentiful hot water, and a well-appointed kitchen.

There really wasn’t anything negative about our experience.

The staff was great. They made a real effort to keep the place clean. The room was comfortable except the bed was way too soft for me. Facility was amid a business park in a wooded area and was very quiet yet it was close to a major highway entrance, Interstate 93. Very convenient to all the attractions in the area. Boston-20 miles, beach-30 miles. New Hampshire border-5 miles. I would definitely stay here again.

Even with covid-19 protocols, breakfast was depressing. I'm not a cook so I would use this option. I did for a few days but stopped because of the total lack for variety. No cereals, same watery scrambled eggs every day. Same pork sausage patties every day. Same stale low quality bread and english muffins. Not one slice of bacon in the three weeks I was there. It was the only thing that I really disliked during my stay.

I’m disabled so there was a lot of walking everything so spread out that walking to breakfast was a tough one but that’s about all

Needs updating and very loud.

Absolutely everything except the dirty towel left by housekeeping in the room oh and the hallways smell like dirty rugs,you probably need a better housekeeping crew,besides that the staff was professional and very nice

It was a beautiful comfortable place, unfortunately housekeeping needs better training they left a dirty towel in the bathroom which is discusting and unacceptable, that's the only negative thing I had in my experience.
